Backstreet Songs
Welcome to Backstreet Songs.
This page was started back in December of 1997, maybe before you even knew
the Backstreet Boys existed.
I live in Nova Scotia, Canada.
I've known about the Backstreet Boys since 1996. I own their Canadian debut
album which does not include the same songs as the American's. Not only
that but the Canadian and European debut albums were released in 1996,
not in 1998 like the American's.
Unfortunately for the Americans
that means there are many songs that the Boys have recorded that they can't
get a hold of in their country. Of course not every one is willing to buy
expensive import albums, so they may never get to hear them. That is why
I started this site.
At first it contained only
links to other people's Real Player files. Then I decided to put the lyrics
up for each song. After that was done one of my main sources of Real Player
files was taken off the net so many of my links didn't work. It was then
that I decided to host them myself (by having them in my own account).
Once that was finished I decided to colour code them just for fun. Luckily
many people were willing to help me out so I didn't have to code them all
myself.
I also got many e-mails from
people asking me questions about the songs. "What album is it on?", "Where
can I buy a copy?" etc. So I added track information at the bottom of each
lyric page. I also put up a link that takes you directly to CDnow where
you can buy a CD containing that song.
