Prilep
The city of Prilep is located in northern part of the Pelagonia valley.Prilep has about 70 000 inhabitants.
Places for turists: the monument "Mogila"(dedicated to partizans during Second World War.), the Old Bazaar and Prince Marko's Towers.
The Prince Marko's Towers (see the picture on the
left) are builded in 14th century by Prince
Marko,where he lived.Prince Marko is a subject for many tales and
legends.
The Monastery of St. Archangel Michael is located in the suburb of Prilep, near Prince Marko's Towers.
The Monastery of Treskavets is located in the vicinity of Prilep.
