the Answer
the Answer
I watched, and I wondered,
As the fading sunset, slowly,
Came to awaken the night.
There, right before my eyes,
I witnessed the meanings of life
Slowly, at first, it appeared,
Then, as magic took its toll,
A ball of love was born in the sky.
For all the many questions have I,
The answers were near.
Loves face smiled down on me,
"I am the moon," said he,
"light, to see your destiny,"
I pleaded, to be take there,
But with a smile,
He just told me sleep.
My body slept,
As my soul escaped,
I became a distant star, I think,
In a time both far and near,
Mr. Sun, from where I stood,
Kissed sweetly, the mistress sea,
And so many colors,
Never before seen by mortal man,
Were waltzing with the clouds.
Love sir mister Moon,
What are your words,
Where is your meaning" I cried.
The sunset began to fade,
I saw the last cloud, as away it danced.
Love held me tight now,
Sensing my anguish and fear
, As the moment vanished from my life.
"Mr. Moon" I realized
"Its a sad song,
Knowing this day will never be again.
"Yes child" he answered,
"This day will never be again
