Deathly Love
Yesterday,
As I walked the usual streets,
I happened to catch a glimpse,
Of a flower,
A beautiful, rare and sensitive flower.
So offhandedly,
I picked that flower,
That beautiful flower.
I plucked it from its roots.
I stole only a part away.
I killed that flower,
For only a moments pleasure.
And today,
I saw that flower,
Dead.
Disregarded, and abandoned.
Amongst my deepest thoughts,
I made such a strange comparison,
My love for a flower,
And your love for me.
