Calibretto First Appearance: Battle Chasers #1 Powers: Calibretto has various built in weapons such as a laser, a flame thrower, a huge cannon like gun built into his arm and various thrown projectiles like grenades for instance. Among these weapons, he can also absorb types of energy and rechannel them directly at an opponant! Truly, he is a force to be reckoned with. Story: Many years ago, several robots called Wargolems were created as engines of war in a battle against marauding invaders and powerful armies! Calibretto is one of these such Wargolems that protected that land! Unfortunatly, after these threats were taken care of and their missions were complete, the Wargolems were destroyed on sight because of their destructive capabilities. Every last one of them save a few were destroyed. Calibretto was among the lucky few, and was taken in by Knolan, a powerful mage. Now because he is outlawed, he must always conceel his identity by covering himself up in a diguise every time he goes out. Although Calibretto is virtually a war machine, his is also a nature lover. He preserves flowers and watches their growth. He loves the animals of the woods and enjoys feeding them and being at their side. One night, while Calibretto was planting certain seeds near Granok, he encountered a young girl named Gully who was on the run from wolves known as the Lycelot. He helped her out and defeated the wolves. Later on, he took her to Knolan. Knolan then took Gully under his wing just as he had done with Calibretto. The trio decided to head to Capital City to get help from King Vaneer on the manner. While on their way, they encountered Garrison, who wanted to help Gully. Unfortunatly, after a fight, Garrison realized his assistance wasn't needed and he left. When the Calibretto, Gully and Knolan arrived at Capital City, they found the city was in ruins because of an attack by invaders. Calibretto was forced to fight Bulgrim to protect Gully. After an attack by the Royal Guard, Calibretto was on the verg of being destroyed, but Calibretto still managed to figure out how to stop Bulgrim. He shot at Bulgrim's vessel's braclet, destroying it. This cause Bulgrim to vanish right before their eyes! In the end, Calibretto was amongst Garrison, Gully and Knolan as a team: The Battle Chasers! |
