(03/08/99)
As many of you may know, this
is "Hip Hop Week" on MTV. Well, anyway, MTV's new show,
Station Zero, played "Tha Crossroads" today,
as part of their series premier! They made many comments (very
funny comments!) during the video. Such comments were "I
didn't know you could bone on TV!" as well as many others.
One thing they constantly went off on was the angel in the video.
They thought he was R. Kelly. They said stuff like "I hear
R. Kelly flashes a lot in this video", and refered to him
as always ruining card games (when the angel takes Wish's uncle's
life). All-in-all, this is a very funny show, I advise you to
check it out! It's on weekdays at 6:30 PM.
(02/22/99)
I've made it to the "Graf
Wall" on the Relativity Records site! Check
it out!
(02/14/99)
Krayzie was interviewed on Pheonix's own, "Power 92," recently. He says that the rumors about Bone splitting are false (like most people knew). He also says that there will be a Bone Thugs movie starring people that are to play Bone (Bone will NOT play themselves). This will be released around the time of their next album.
Krayzie Bone is in "The Ghetto"
and Bizzy Bone is "Way Too Strong"! Click

IMPORTANT NEWS ON BIZZY... READ BELOW.
(Taken from "The Columbus Dispatch")
Rapper found not guilty by
jury
January 26, 1999
By Kevin Mayhood
Dispatch Staff Reporter
Jury members who heard four days of testimony and arguments took less than an hour yesterday to declare rapper Bryon "Bizzy Bone'' McCane not guilty of misdemeanor charges of assault and disorderly conduct. Afterward, jurors said they were left with many questions, including whether Columbus prosecutors should have charged others in the case.
McCane, 22, of Worthington, is a soloist and member of the Grammy- winning group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
He was tried in Franklin County Municipal Court for allegedly scuffling with a student at a North Side barber college in September.
Testimony from both sides said barber student Terrance Harden, 26, was manhandled in a stairwell by two of McCane's bodyguards. Harden suffered cuts to his hands, a bruise to his neck and back pain from the altercation, he said in court.
But testimony also differed. Harden and his witnesses said McCane yanked Harden's collar; McCane and one of the bodyguards said McCane never joined in the tussle.
"It was one word against the other,'' jury foreman M. Eugene Gilliom said. "We were not saying that the charges were clearly invalid. It was a question of whose word did you choose to believe.''
One of the matters that raised doubt was that Harden had said in a complaint that McCane had punched and kicked him and tried to drag him down the stairs at Hair Experts Barber School on Karl Road. The complaint was amended just before trial to say that McCane had only tried to drag Harden down stairs.
"I have questions why they didn't drag the bodyguards into it,'' juror Robert Radcliffe said. "It seems to me, if you don't have the right people, you don't proceed.''
Assistant City Attorney Nathan Akamine told jurors that his office and Harden didn't know the identities of the bodyguards until the trial. In addition, he said, the complaint against McCane shouldn't have been included with actions attributed to the bodyguards.
At this point, the city has no intention of filing charges against body guards Harvey "Animal'' Stephenson and Robert Thomas, Akamine added.
As the verdicts were read, McCane clasped his hands, bowed slightly and thanked the jury. He hugged his lawyer, Randall Treneff, and then his mother.
"I give the jury credit for hearing all of the facts,'' McCane said.
He said he had "a fair day in court. The jury was very impartial; they didn't judge me.''
Earlier in the day, a soft-spoken McCane told the jury he had gone to the barber school to talk with Harden about threats he supposedly had made and while he walked away, he heard the scuffle and turned to see his bodyguards grabbing Harden.
Harden said in court that he will file a civil
lawsuit against McCane to cover his legal and medical bills.

Krayzie Bone is supposedly releasing his album March 30th. It is said to be a double CD, but I'm not for sure (I'll keep you posted). Krayzie has also apparently just filmed the video to "I Still Believe (Remix) featuring Mariah Carey and Da Brat", and it will be shown soon. This is the remix to Mariah Carey's remake of "I Still Believe" (which does not feature Krayzie Bone or Da Brat) from Brenda K. Starr (Mariah was a back-up singer for her when Mariah was a teenage girl). Mariah remade this song as a tribute to Starr. The Remix is on Krayzie's album, "Thug Mentality", and the original (Mariah's version) is on Mariah's album, "#1's".
(01/16/99)
Sorry for not presenting a winner for the Serious Harmony Bone Award for the 2nd week in a row, but it's now been decided, so check out the winner in the awards section!
Apparently, Krayzie's first single, Silent Killa (off his upcoming solo debut, Thug Mentality) has aired on POWER 106 FM recently. I cannot verify this directly, because I don't get that station, but I have been told this is so. Thug Mentality is set for release sometime in March.
(01/04/99)
Sorry for not presenting a winner for the Serious Harmony Bone Award last Saturday, I've been busy. So, due to my odd schedule, there is still time to submit you site into the contest. The winner will be announced this Saturday -- 01/09/99 -- So hurry up!
In the latest issue of Blaze, Bizzy Bone's "Menesky Mobbin'" was rated in the Deez Cuts section; each judge had something different to say:
Teddy Ted- "I always liked this kid; mad
people have been influenced by his flow. Just one question though--who
the hell is Menesky?"
DJ Freedom Child- "Listening to this makes me wonder
what he's trying to hide. I think he says everything so fast because
he doesn't want you to think that he doesn't want you to know
that his lyrics are pretty empty."
Big Tigger- "I wasn't really feeling this
one. Lyrically, it was a departure from the traditional, sing-songy
Bone style. Couldn't really get down with the production. It left
me wanting more."
Kima (of Total)- "Bizzy Bone is definitely holding
his own and representing for Bone Thugs. I like this one."
So, in conclusion, really, Kima (the good-looking member of Total) liked it the best. This was very dissapointing, they all should have liked it! Also, in this same issue of Blaze, Bone was #3 on the "REGRETS--It really hurt not to count these folks among the greatest" list (this issue had a list of the top 50 rappers). Under their name, it said:
"Y'all harmonized
your way to the tip top of the charts--spawning many imitations
in the process--but still get slept on 'cause the East can't understand
what you're saying."
(12/25/98)
Ruthless Records' site is down
temporarily. It says it will be back up in 1999, complete with
audio, video, and merchandise. So, be on the look out for that!
(12/21/98)
Krayzie's album, Thug Mentality, is set for release in February of 1999, but is still subject to change. I'm expecting some time between February and March. Ghetto Cowboy is #11 on Billboard (Overall) Singles Chart.
(12/11/98)
I have a brief news line-up (Sorry for not updating the news in a while) for today: Ghetto Cowboy is #1 on the Billboard Top Rap Singles. Bizzy Bone is to release his own brand of clothing, supposedly called "Gambini Wear." Bizzy Bone's "Nobody Can Stop Me" premiered on BET (Unfortunately, I don't have BET) a couple of days ago. Krayzie Bone's album, "Thug Mentality," is said to be released March 2, 1999 (Subject to change).
(11/06/98)
The Bone Thugs Compilation album (volume 1) is set to be released on November 24th.
(10/30/98)
There will be a 7th Sign compilation coming out called 7 Days, 7 Nights, 7 Signs. There will also be solo albums for Mr. Majesty and H.I.T.L.A.H Capo coming out soon. Here are some tracks that will be on them:
MR. MAJESTY
Secret Affairs
How Could...
Without Notice
H.I.T.L.A.H CAPO
Blood War
Nevermind (Skit)
Zoned Out (feat.: Skails and B.B. Gambini)
(10/25/98)
Sorry for the long break between updates of the news section. Bizzy's "Nobody Can Stop Me" single is due out December 1st! The volume #1 of the Bone Thugs Greatest Hits album is due out November 17th. I'm not sure as to when volume #2 is to be released.
(10/03/98)
In the latest issue of VIBE, Mariah Carey was interviewed about songs that were never commercialized like they should be (or not at all), and she said, "I wanted to put out "Breakdown" with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. That was a no-brainer. Release it. I'll always be upset "Breakdown" never got its shot." Also, this issue features an interview with Bizzy Bone.
(09/26/98)
Bizzy Bone's "Thugz Cry" premiered on 09/23/98 on BET's Rap City. He was also interviewed by Rachel. In his video, he plays Satan, or something, and is arrested, but he escapes. In the video, his girl is Mya.
(09/18/98)
Ghetto Cowboy is playing on The Box! Check it out if it's in your area!
(09/18/98)
Krayzie is putting the finishing
touches on his CD. It is supposedly to be out November 3rd (date
is subject to change), and will be called Silent Warrior!
Layzie's album is suposedly called AssassiNation (unsure
right now, I'll have more info. when possible), and Wish's is
rumored to be called The War Is On.
(Thanks to Iceman)
(09/11/98)
Tomorrow is Bizzy Bone's birthday!
(09/06/98)
Yesterday's "Ultra Sound," on MTV, was the Video Music Awards (VMA) Special. It talked about past moments, and one of them was the perfomance by Bone in 1996. It said that the police were looking for Bizzy, due to charges of assault and battery. Bizzy managed to be "one-step-ahead" of the police. He got away, after their performance, with no time to spare.
(09/06/98)
I believe that BONE Thugs N Harmony are doing a song with Juan G (He is a Dogg Pound Member). I am not sure what the song is to be called. But it is to be on his released Solo album off his Label. He is to said to be making a music video also with Bone.
(09/06/98)
Bizzy says he's in a movie with Wu-Tang's Method Man, called "Bad Fellas."
(09/06/98)
Baby Bone has changed her and e-mail. If you need info on demos, Bone, etc... You can e-mail her here-> Mo Thugs Representive
(08/25/98)
Bizzy says that his album may be a double CD, but he is not sure as to whether release them at different times, or to release them together.
(08/25/98)
The video for "Ghetto Cowboy" has apparently been canceled, and the next video will be "Mighty Mighty Warrior."
(08/25/98)
Bizzy is filming the video for "Thugs Cry," and it should appear on BET on September 10th.
(08/25/98)
Bizzy will have 2pac, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Layzie, Krayzie, Bizzy, Wish, Flesh, and Poetic Hustlaz on his upcoming album!
(08/21/98)
Baby Bone is trying to answer everyone's mail, one at a time, so please be patient.

Krayzie was interviewed by MTV,
about the new Bone documentary, this is what he had to say:
"It's
called 'Future Shock,'" Krayzie said,
"and it's a documentary of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. It gives
you a little bit about the rapping and the business side of Bone
Thugs-N-Harmony, but it's basically the [background] scenes. How
we came to be, how we made it and all that stuff." [220k

(08/04/98)
Layzie, Flesh, Wish, and Bizzy
are all related. I know you may be saying, "That's a lie!"
Although, this is true...but not by blood. Bizzy is the step brother
to Layzie and Flesh, and the step cousin to Wish. It happened
way back in 1991, before Creepin On Ah Come Up. This information
can be found in the Billboards book.
(08/04/98)
I have heard from Layzie, that
there might be a video for "Thug Luv" to be released
sometime this year. He hasn't made any promises, but if it does
come out, remember, you heard it here first.
(Thanks To Layzie Bone)
(08/04/98)
Layzie Bone will be featuring
on DJ U-Neeks Upcoming Album. It is set to release September 8th.
It's Volume 1. I forget the name of the Album, but it's like Ghetto
Version (or something similar). If you don't believe me. Call
up this number..... (213) 295-3431 (KingPin Records)! It also
says, watch out For Bizzy and Krayzie Bone solos do out in October.
Bizzy's is the 6th and Krayzie is around Halloween.
(Thanks To Baby Bone)
(08/04/98)
This isn't a rumor. Baby Bone
talked with a couple of her friends at Mo Thug Headquarters and
they told her that Mo Thug is going to have a meeting about what
two months out of the year they will be accepting demos. She wishes
this wasn't true. But it is! The meeting is sometime next week.
They have received tons of demos and are still listening to the
ones from back in May. So if you all have demos that want to be
heard before they put up their two months you best send them in!
If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail Baby
Bone! She is bringing this up because she, and I, are getting
e-mails asking for the address where to send demos to Mo Thug
Records! Just some knowledge for all of you musicians wanting
to make it!
(Thanks To Baby Bone)

Today's guests, on Mtv's Jams Countdown, featured J.D., Da Brat, Krayzie Bone, and Mo Thugs' new, R&B singing, seductress from Houston, Felecia. They were there to promote J.D.'s new album, "Life in 1472." Krayzie didn't speak much while he was there, and Felecia would just groove to the music, in the background, the whole time. Krayzie introduced Felecia, and had a chance to introduce a Bonus Jam. It was Def Squad's new track/video, "Full Cooperation." Funk Master Flex also asked him how he felt about working with J.D. He had this to say:
"It's off the hook"..."He brings tight tracks to the table"..."He's got something for everyone."
Also, Bone's new video, "War", came in at "Number 10" on the Countdown today!
(07/16/98)

There is an add in The Source, issue #107(August 1998), that is promoting D.J. U-Neek's new album. To fans of Bone, he is better known as Bone's producer for Creepin On Ah Come Up, E. 1999 Eternal, and The Art of War (He can be found producing on the tracks that say "Keenu [U-Neek backwards] Songs). His new album does not advertise featuring Bone, but it does feature Nytowl, E.W.F., Jagg, Big Chan, Tren Setta, Big Bone Alias John Doe, Gemini, Big Lurch, Dresta, Cold 187 of Above the Law, as well as other unnamed, special guests.

The NEW Mo Thugs video is out now. It's called "All Good", and the performers are a new-comer to the Mo Thug family, named Felecia and features Krayzie Bone. It has a large pyramid with a stage cut into the top, and the Mo Thugs sign cut into the side. On the stage, Felecia and Krayzie Bone sing, while Wish Bone dances. At the foot of the pyramid is the Mo Thugs Family singing.

Layzie didn't like the words that were said.

(05/02/98)
Bizzy Bone has made many viewers upset without his appearances in the group's videos and concerts. On March 17, 1998, Bone, along with the Mo Thugs Family, were at Houston for 97.9's The Box's Birthday Bash at the Summit, as you would know, no Bizzy or Flesh. When they came on stage, they said that Bizzy is back at the studio, sending papers to Ruthless because their problem has been solved, and they are with Ruthless. The concert was a hit! Bone threw out CD's and takes of the snippets of Mo Thugs Family Scriptures Chapter 2: Family Reunion. It is due out May 29th.
(05/02/98)
An interview was recently done with Layzie Bone, asking about Bone's release dates. Layzie said, "Well, see, right now we're in some trouble, you know what I'm sayin'? We like in a problem wit' Ruthless, you know what I'm sayin'? We in a hole at the moment, you know what I'm sayin'? Mo Thugs Reunion iz due out on March 26, but it's not official, and our new triple album iz not due out 'till around July 1, 1999, which we haven't named it yet, you know what I'm sayin'?"
(05/02/98)
The Mo Thugs Family have been delaying their soon to be #1 album of the year, Mo Thugs Family Scriptures Chapter 2: Family Reunion, because they have made over 33 songs and they are changing the track list. As a member of Bone thugs~n~harmony, Charles "Wish Bone" Scruggs says, "We have been away for all the darkside and hard times, like the Art of War, we has many harmonic sh*t, because we was in no stress we jus' chillin' in the back parlayin'. Family Reunion iz 'bout the hard times, so we had to take it back to exchange some of the harmonic views, to some hard times sh*t."
(05/02/98)
Sorry for the missunderstanding,
Layzie was married on May 16th of last year, not May 6th.
