Delroy Wilson died in March 1995 , ravaged by the drink that had overtaken his life in later years, at the depressingly early age of 46. Delroy Wilson started his career at the tender age of 15 at Studio One, where he recorded his first tune, the ska song "Joe Liges". Throughout the years Delroy proved to be one of the greatest soulful singers in reggae music. He left behind - especially to those for whom reggae is a way of life - a catalogue of impassioned tunes that were superbly voiced and seemingly immortal.
