Krist Novoselic
His electric bass guitars
Black Fender Jazz Bass with a white pickguard, he used this bass for the first session of the recording of "Bleach". This was his main bass during the first years (till 1989).
Ibanez Black Eagle, he used this one for the second and the third session of the recording of "Bleach". He began using this bass for the "Bleach"-tour. He used it a couple of times during '91 till '94. It was also used for the "Live 'n Loud"-session.

Black Gibson Ripper Bass, he used this bass for the recording of "Nevermind" and "In Utero".

Gibson Artist Bass, he used this bass during much of the early "Nevermind"-tour (??/9/ 91 through ??/4/ 93).

Gibson Thunderbird IV in sunburst, he used this one alot during the end of the "Nevermind"-tour (22/6/92-30/8/92).

Black Gibson Thunderbird IV, he also used this one alot during the end of the "Nevermind"-tour (22/6/92-30/8/92).

His acoustic bass guitars
For the "Unplugged"-session Krist used a Guild acoustic/electric bass, rented from S.I.R. in New York. He used this one because he didn't have an "unplugged bass" of his own.

His amps
PMS amp, he used this for the first session of the recording of "Bleach".
Fender Twin Reverb, he used this amp for the second and third session of the recording of "Bleach".
Ampeg SVT400 head, he used this for the recording of "Nevermind". This was also his main amp during the "Nevermind"-tour.
200 watt Hiwatt head (converted to use KT90 tubes) through a Marshall cab, he used this for the recording of "In Utero". This was also his main amp during the "In Utero"-tour. On the tour Kurt and Krist went both with 8 Marshall cabs, all running fully wide open.
Mesa/Boogie Road Ready speaker cabs.
His effects
Krist used a ProCo Rat Distortion for "Breed" and "Endless, Nameless" on "Nevermind".
Other stuff:
Krist used a Dobren accordian for the "Unplugged"-session on "Jesus Doesn't Want Me For A Sunbeam". It was Kurt Cobain's, it was also the first instrument Krist learned to play.
