"The Decline" EP
Released: 1999 Label: Fat Wreck Chords
Songs: I pledge a grievance to the flag of the United states of A and the blah blah...
Yeah that's right, one song! Pretty shitty eh? Well its 18 minutes long and its the best damn song I have ever heard. Actually its sorta like a bunch of songs put into one with no breaks in-between. They use a trombone for some of the songs and this guy, Spike, does some really good backup vocals. The lyrics are really good but you'll have to buy the cd if you wanna know what they are. It only cost $11 bucks, at least that's the suggested retail price but most likely, you'll pay more. Oh and when I bought this cd, the store guy was getting pissed off at the cd cause it has a super small bar code and the guy couldn't get it to scan. He was all like "wow those guys down there are really funny". After like 10 tries at the thing, he gave up and typed it in. The cover really reminds me of Punk in Drublic but I don't know if its supposed to be connected in anyway. The coolest thing about this cd, is the cd itself. Since its so short, there is only music on half the cd, so the rest of the cd is clear. Cool eh? - Phil
"So long and thanks
for all the shoes"
Released: 1997 Label: Epitaph
Songs: Its my job to keep punk rock elite, kids of the holel, murder the government, monosyllabic girl, 180 degrees, all his suits are torn, all outta angst, i'm telling tim, champs elysees, dad's bad news, kill rock stars, eat the meek, the desperation's gone, flossing a dead horse, quart in session, falling in love.
Perhaps the most unique NOFX cd yet. Many different types of songs on it. They have the traditional nofx sound, the trumpet jazz thing, a reggae song, slow, fast, everything. This is one of their best cds yet. Its hard to imagine getting bored of this cd because its so different. It seems like nofx as wanted to do what they wanted to do and on this cd and from now on, they just wanna have fun and do whatever and this is want makes the cd so great. Even my mom likes some of these songs (is that a bad thing) I have introduced many people to nofx through this cd. Most of them like the trumpet songs first then they catch on to the faster songs like "Murder the Government" and go out and buy the older cds. Pretty funny booklet comes along with this cd. Features the "10 answers to the most asked 10 questions we would like to never be asked again" section. One of the questions is "when are you coming back" and nofx replies "hopefully never." The pics of the band in this booklet isn't even nofx. Anyway, anyone who likes nofx or wants to like them (ha) should buy this cd (you all probably have it anyway)-Phil

"Heavy Petting
Zoo"
Released: 1996 Label: Epitaph
Songs: Hobophobic (scared of bums), Philthy Phil Philanthropist, Freedumb like a shopping cart, Bleeding heart disease, Hot dog in the hallway, Release the hostages, Liza, what's the matter with kids today?, Love story, The black and white, Whatever Didi wants, August 8th, Drop the world.
Yet another Nofx album. Its different then the previous albums but I guess all Nofx cds are. Anyway, I have heard many people say that this cd isn't that great but I disagree. Its pretty good, it is Nofx after all. This cd is slower then past albums but its a good slow. The cd is pretty mellow and has lots funny shit in it and booklet thing is really cool. They show a bunch of weird pics including a naked body and the pic of the sheep and that guy. (still can't figure out what he's doing to it?) They also wrote all the lyrics on weird shit like bodies and $100 bills. I can't really say what songs are the better ones. There all the same goodness. This cd has two different covers. The first release had a cowboy doing 69 with a sheep. I think that cover was banned or something cause I've never seen it in stores-Phil

"Punk in Drublic"
Released: 1994 Label: Epitaph
Songs: Linoleum, Leave it alone, dig, the cause, don't call me white, my heart is yearning, perfect government, the brews, the quass, dying degree, fleas, lori meyers, jeff wears birken stocks, punk guy, happy guy, reeko, scavenger type.
This is one of the all-time bestest cds. I
remember when i first got it, I listened to it none stop for like months.
This cd is full of amazing songs like linoleum, leave it alone, the brews,
punk guy and all the other songs are just as good. The cd is more
on the heavy side, it sounds like their S&M airlines cd. There
is a hidden song that has El Hefe making a bunch of funny impressions.
That's it. Go buy it! - Phil

"S&M Airlines"
Released: 1989 Label: Epitaph
Songs: Day to Daze, Five feet under, Professional crastination, Mean people suck, Vanilla sex, S&M Airlines, Drug Free America, Life O'Riley, You drink you drive you spill, Scream for change, Jaundiced eye, go you own way.
I love this cd! It's pretty heavy, sounds more like a heavy metal band. All the songs are good but there are a bunch that are special: Five feet under, Vanilla sex, S&M, Jaundiced eye and go your own way. Go your own way is a cover of that old band. If you like NOFX's "Punk In Drublic" cd, you will really like this one. It sounds the same, this is more heavy though-Phil
"Liberal Animation"
Rereleased: 1991 (first released 88') Label: Epitaph
Songs: Shutup already, Freedumb, Here comes the neighborhood, A 200 club, Sloppy English, You put your chocolate in my peanut butter, Mr. Jones, Vegetarian mumbo jumbo, Beer Bong, Piece, I live in a cake, No problems, On the rag, Truck stop blues.
This is super old! and it super sucks too! This is before the glory dayz. It's still a cool cd to have if you really like NOFX but only if you really like NOFX. If some guy first bought this cd, they would never buy another NOFX album again. Some of the lyrics are clever and funny but some suck and the band totally don't feel that way now. Some songs are pretty good though. So its not all bad. Shutup already is a good song, so is Vegetarian mumbo jumbo. Beer Bong is NOFX's most requested song. By listening to some of these songs, you could tell that NOFX has a potential to do well-Phil
