Dios Elefante e-carta sent 4-19-02

The private show on Fri April 12th was a hit!! the tilC grrls couldn't have been drunker..the music couldn't have been raunchier. (Or was it the other way around??) Dios Elefante played a groovy impromptu set after misplacing their drummer (big thanks to Joe from Manos de muerto for filling in on short notice) and Manos de Muerto played a couple of killer sets too! But with all that excitement came even bigger news. After the show there was an even better

performance. --yes it's been a big week for the crew at Dios Elefante.

Not to be outdone by her parents Pilar decided to make her debut!!

Starting Sunday morning and ending (finally) tues morning a mere 49 hours later Dios Elefante's singer Leticia and Manos de Muerto's

drummer Joe became proud parents to Pilar Inez Franco!!! And thus a punk rock princess was born!! She's hell a cute and super bad ass!!

And they couldn't be happier with her.

In other DE News....Jerry, Dios Elefante's guitarist gets engaged!

Jerry popped the question to tilC ciRcUS drummer Lupita "Flamin' Loops" and she actually said yes -- how he got so lucky we'll never

know ;) but congratulations to the both of them. I'm sure as the date gets closer band line-up and show times will be announced.

The ASU Community Service Program is proud to announce the First Annual Cesar E. Chavez Day of Service. In honor of the legacy of Cesar E. Chavez, we are planning a day of service on Saturday, April 6th from 8:00 a.m. - 12 noon at the Brooks Academy located on 32nd Street and Broadway in Phoenix.

In order for this event to be a success we need to have strong support. More details about the service day will be sent out at a later date.
