CHARACTERS



Lt. Ripley(company personnel)

Lt. Ripley was the second officer of the commercial starship Nostromo which landed on LV-426 after discovering a distress signal on its way back to earth. Lt. Ripley stayed behind when three of the crew memebers ventured forth to investigate the signal. While they were gone, Ripley was able to decrypt the signal as being a warning. By then it was too late and the three crew members returned with a parasite attached to one of them. The Alien was then brought on board where it eventually transformed and attempted to murder the entire crew. Lt. Ripley was the only survivor of the attack after she blew the Alien out of her escape shuttle, the Narcisuss, which it had followed her into.



Cpt. Dallas(company personnel)

Captain Dallas was the captain in command of the Nostromo. After the crew had awaken from hypersleep, Dallas interfaced the ship's computer, MOTHER, and found that they had been stopped due to a transmission that had been recieved. Dallas was one of the crew members that went to the transmission source and found a deserted ship with a fossilized lifeform and thousands eggs. When one of the crew members was attacked by a parasite from one of the eggs, Dallas helped bring him back to the Nostromo where an Alien was unleashed. When the Alien threat grew to where everyone on the ship was jeapordized, Dallas went into an air duct system to flush out the Alien. There is where he met his death when the Alien stalked and trapped him by himself.



Kane(company personnel)

Kane was the first officer behind Captain Dallas of the Nostromo. He was also the unfortunate host when he accompanied the expedition to the derelict ship where he was attacked by a facehugging parasite after examining an egg. The rest of the crew tried to remove the parasite with no success. After coming off later, Kane gave birth to an Alien creature through his chest in a violent death. His body was later buried in space.



Lambert(company personnel)

Lambert was the Nostromo's head pilot and navigator. She discovered that the crew was off course from earth after they had awakened from hypersleep. She was also the third crew member, along with Dallas and Kane, to investigate the derelict ship. Lambert was the last to be killed by the Alien that had taken over the ship when she was gathering oxygen containers to prepare evacuation of the ship.



Ash(company personnel)

Ash was the Nostromo's science officer in charge of the science division. He studied the parasite that was attached to Kane and was able to persuade Dallas in taking the specimen back after it had left Kane. He seemed to be protecting the Alien all along and this came out in a revelation when Ripley discovered that the ship's special order was to ensure the return of the Alien specimen. Ash tried to kill Ripley when he learned what she had discovered, but was killed himself by Parker and Lambert. At the same time he was revealed as being an android sent by the company.



Parker(company personnel)

Parker was the chief engineer for the Nostromo and handled all of the technical problems with the ship. When the ship was damaged in the landing on LV-426, Parker and his assistant, Brett, were able to repair the ship so that it could take off again. Parker was one of the last to be killed by the Alien when he and Lambert getting ready to evacuate the ship with Ripley.



Brett(company personnel)

Brett was the ship's engineer technician and assistant to Parker. He helped Parker get the ship flying again when it had been damaged on LV-426. Brett was killed by the Alien while hunting it down with Ripley and Parker. He had been searching for the ship cat away from the others when the Alien came down from the ventalation shafts.



Jones the Cat(The Ship Cat)

Jones was Ripley's cat that was brought along to help with any rodent problems that might develop on the Nostromo. It was the only other survivor, besides Ripley, to escape the Alien.
