If you've ever heard an Andy Gibb record or seen him in concert, you already know how special he is! But here are a few facts about Andy that you might not know!
* Super-talented Andy has always been interested in music but decided to work toward a professional music career only six years ago.
* He dropped out of school at age thirteen to make music, but he advises other young people to complete their education before they follow their career dream.
* Musically, Andy was influenced by his mom, a singer; his dad, a band leader; and, of course, his three older brothers, the super-group, The Bee Gees.
* Andy wanted to become the fourth Bee Gee, but he and his brothers finally agreed Andy should go after a solo career instead of joining them.
* Andy loves life on a Florida houseboat where he can fish and go sailing as often as he can, though he hasn't had much free time lately!
* He had a lot of musical training, but Andy doubted his ability as a songwriter! Anyone who has heard "Flowing Rivers," his debut album filled with nine of his own great compositions, knows he's great!
* Andy says he knew his first single, "I Just Want To Be Your Everything," written by brother Barry, would be a number one hit!
* Who would ever guess that super-cool Andy gets very nervous before a live performance?!
* Andy doesn't like to talk about his separation from Kim, his young wife of more than a year, who is now back in Australia with her family.
* Astonished by his sudden popularity, Andy is very grateful for his fans' support but does admit that he is sometimes worried about over-anxious fans who tend to get carried away.
* He openly acknowledges and appreciates the help his famous brothers have given him in launching his career, but feels strongly that he must gain success on his own!
* Andy's career continues to sky-rocket and he is planning a concert tour throughout England, Australia, and the United States. He hopes to meet as many of his American fans as possible!
