src="http://www.fortunecity.com/skyscraper/mmx/348/07010100.gif" width="17" height="20">Chikorita was first known when the Pokemon Gold/Silver games came out. She is the starting Pokemon in the grass ele<img src="http://www.fortunecity.com/skyscraper/mmx/348/0725e760.gif" align="left" border="0" width="97" height="104">ment. Chikorita evolves at level 16 into Bayleef and then into Meganium at level 32.</p> <p>Chikorita is in the newest edition to the Pokemon cards, known as the Neo Genesis cards. </p> <p>In the TV series, Chikorita first appears when Ash, Brock and Misty come across Professor Elm in Jhoto. There isn't a real Chikorita, Elm just shows them a picture of one. In the following episode though, Ash and the others meet up with a beggining<img src="http://www.fortunecity.com/skyscraper/mmx/348/06d60600.gif" align="right" border="0" width="97" height="104"> Pokemon trainer with her first Pokemon, Chikorita. Later in the series, Ash gets his own Chikorita who has a crush on him and is jealous of Pikachu.</p> <p>There is also a mini-movie, known as Pikachu's Winter Vacation, where Chikorita is shown there (poor Chikorita, all the other Pokemon start laughing at her).</p> <p>The first and second Pokemon movies have no sign of Chikorita, but she is in the third movie.
