Molasses

Yeah, Yeah, this is a simple page.. but it's a simple page for a simple program. Molasses is a small and light sticky notes program. Written for you to stick useful notes all over your desktop.
It's written for GNOME and so, uses many of it's helpful features. I know a program called gNotes exists, which is quite similar to Molasses, but when i started writng this gNotes had fallen into a state of non-development (from where i stood at the time, i think it's back into development now).

Why is it called Molasses, you might be thinking. so, here's the answer:
I was on IRC (as usual) and i had an idea about writing a Post-it note program for Gnome - i knew a few existed, but none of them seemed to work - and I wanted a name for it.. so out came the usual gpostit, poster, postit-app that sort of thing.. well, i discussed it with Layman (a good friend) and he started talking about the Sticky side of postits, and Molasses just came along.. See, postit notes are sticky, molasses is sticky! That's the only reason behind the name - oh, and i thought it sounded nifty, and was original (none of the g nonsens (which i think i started, with gEdit. ah well.))....

Thanks

Thanks for your interest in Molasses. Sorry about the sparse page, but such a simple program doesnt need a complicated page (and i don't have the time to make a complicated one! =).

I'd like to thank...
