Looks:
Very handsome (in a ruggishly, street-fighter sort of way); could be the
next model for a Bugle-Boy jeans commercial with a boyish charm and smile
and a love for adventure and a good fight. Long blond hair, blue eyes,
middle built and is known to look good in a pair stone-washed jeans any
day of the week. Can't be missed in a crowd with his famous red metal cap
(he always has another one in that sack of his) and his favorite red jacket
(how anyone keep missing it is beyond me).
Smarts: Average. A bit clever on figuring out clues and martial art techniques; not really into foolhardy actions and is careful on who is his next opponent. Not a rocket scientist, but is resourceful in making a serious comeback. Not a guy to underestimate.
Personality: Very pleasant and carefree, with a love for adventure and experiencing a good sparring match with a strong opponent, but can show a serious side when people he care for are in danger. Determined and loyal, Terry will put his life on the line for you whenever possible. Weird thing is that he cleans up real nice and doesn't have a huge ego on his skills or looks; definitely humble on his appearance. However, can show times of depression and closes his feelings toward others and although he does drink at times, his causal drinking doesn't effect his personality and only becomes violent when ruffians are looking for a fight (His moral is to never pick on the weak). Don't think Terry is an abusive drinker, he turns to the bottle when depressed or with friends, otherwise when sparring he stays clear from it.
Home
Economics: As a street-fighter, home economics are definitely not in
his qualifications. He's more of an outdoorsman and may participate in
yard work but you have better chance of doing the housework yourself while
Terry works on the backyard for training and yard improvement alone. Look
for a small cozy home with a big yard, ladies. As far as cooking skills,
he survived at a young age on the streets alone so he has picked up some
skills of fixing some food that is edible and can find restaurants for
the best prices on decent food. Best to let him do the shopping unless
you don't want a majority of junk food around the house, give him list
if you do.
Combat
Skills: Like you need to know this! This is the man for toe-to-toe,
hand-to-hand, all-out street combat. Earlier in his life, he and his brother,
Andy, were being trained by their adoptive father, Jeff Bogard. After Jeff
was killed, Andy and Terry separated to find their own style of fighting.
He took on full-grown adults to improve his skills to perfect his free-style
techniques. A fight with Terry can end two ways, he plays around until
he gets the one-hit knockout; or with a tough opponent, you better be a
good several yards from the fight. There will be fireworks. Let's just
say that defeating a god of war is something you could put on your resume.
Special Abilities: This guy has mastered the Power Wave, Burn Knuckle, Crack Shot, Rising Tackle, Power Geyser, and a large number of other moves. One thing that is noted in the first OAV that is applied to the other tapes is that Terry's power comes from the earth and those who are important to him that have left this world. He has felt the love and power from his father, Master Tung, Lily, and Sulia as they lent him the strength to carry on his fight. In deep meditation, Terry can speak to the his departed love ones, particularly Lily, and later Sulia. He soon learns to let go of their spirits and allow them to rest in peace. Whether or not that he could bring himself back to the power level of a god of war remains to be seem and is doubtful since Sulia gave Terry the last of her power.
Competition: Actually, no one is in your way expect for Terry, himself, and his lifestyle. Terry, on one side, is compassionate and friendly but does not wish to explore a relationship with a female since his last two ended tragically. He views himself cursed (guess that title "Lone Wolf" is more than a title) and tries hard to sway any women from getting involved with him since he can't stand the pain of losing someone special to him. Convincing Terry to love again can turn his life around and bring himself to a stronger-willed person. With that support, he would definitely give up his drinking habit if you want him to, but getting him to give up street-fighting is a different story. Another problem is yourself being a target of Geese Howard or the next villain who wants to do Terry in. Don't be a victim, and get yourself up to par on martial arts by practicing with Terry or some sort of armed combat, since Terry's last girlfriends really had no martial arts skills.
In Laws: Andy Bogard (brother), Mai Shiranui (future sister-in-law), and Joe Higashi (family friend). This line-up of martial artists is the best some of best to hang with on parties, clubs and, as usual, street-fighting. If you help brighten Terry's life, they will welcome you to the family. Joe is one cool family friend to visit and party with in his party-man, cocky fashion (he is financially well to do and doesn't mind sharing it with his friends on his trips, parties and home), although he may tease and question Terry on the private matters of your relationship. Andy would make a nice brother-in-law if you treat Terry well, and leave you to your own private matters without interference. Mai, on the other hand, will jokingly question you every second of the way if you done the "deed" with Terry and the extent of that period. Take all in stride with Joe and Mai, they actually mean well when finding out if you and Terry have a strong relationship.
Children:
This is a big question if Terry can be a good father. Since he was cheated
from his life without a father, he would settle down and not let anything
keep him from being a part of his child or children's lives. He is good
at discipline, building strong character into kids, and has a heart to
be a good father to children. Might like to have some with you, but will
adopt in memory of his father since he, himself, was adopted and wish for
children to have a better chance in the world than he did.
Finances: Basically, he will fight for money when needs to be as well as get odd jobs as a pier worker or such. Not much money in that type of work since he fights to improve his own skill level. Enter him in some tournaments and you will be on easy street without him even messing up that face of his.
Sex: Most likely passive and shy at first on the mention of the subject, you'll need to get an aggressively approach to him on this. Depending on the emotional level, Terry may embrace or kiss you by his own choice if you allow it, going to the next level though requires you to make the move. He has a strong body, but he will be gentle if you wish him to be depending on your tastes. Expect to be up some nights as well if he has the energy to do so.
Overall:
If you believe you can break the curse of the lone wolf and some bad habits
Terry has (get him a change of clothes!) and not afraid of adventure and
defying death itself, you'll find a definite keeper, ladies. Terry is a
guy who would go that extra mile for you no matter what. Being a martial
artist yourself is an added plus since you have some common ground with
Terry to encourage in exploring a new love. That or the fact you're Kasumi
Tendo (nobody, villain or otherwise in the Ranma 1/2 series ever attacks
her) would have nothing to worry about. If you don't think you have a chance
with getting Terry or can't defend yourself, you're better off looking
elsewhere, we don't want Terry losing another one but he is worth the risk.
