The Secrets of Mana
A: There are a few secret passages in The Secret of Mana, but are mostly useless.
1: In the inn in Matango, face the Mushroom guy. Then, walk directly down. You'll go through the wall and be able to walk around in the blackness behind the wall.
2: In Tasnica, in the main, big room, go to the left and there's a small secret passage.
3: In Tasnica, you can go right under a stairwell and find a shopkeeper just standing there. It's a pretty good secret, as it is the only place in the game where you can buy Royal Jam that ISN'T Neko's.
4: In Northtown, in the southwest of the town, you can walk through the trees.
B:Regarding Magic and Weapons, and Armor:
1: You can use rapid-fire magic on enemies. I.E: cast a spell, and cast it again as soon as the elemental disappears. Works better if you're using the X button and NOT playing as the character who's casting the spell.
2: You can charge your spells a level for each Mana seed. When you've visited all the Palaces, you can get your spells to level 8:99. At around level 8:65, the spells start doing new and different things.
3: You can charge your weapons for each orb you get per weapon. You can get them up to level 8:99, except for the sword. However, you need to find the orbs. Most of the 7th and 8th orbs per weapons are found on the Mana Fortress, where you have to fight certain enemies to find the orbs in treasure chests. (see the FAQs/Walkthroughs section...)
4: There are special armors that you get from monsters, and they are the most powerful armors in the game. (see the FAQs/Walkthroughs section...)
C:Fly away from the Mana Fortress with Flammie. Then, fly directly south. Look towards the water, and you'll see a face in the water.
D:Hold Left, Right, Start, and Select to reset the game.

B:How to get the final sword orb:
1: Make sure you have a game with the Dragon Buster saved.
2: Start a New Game and play until you get to the Mantis Ant. When Elliot tells you to kill it, reset the game by holding Left, Right, Start, and Select.
3: Load your game with the Dragon Buster and you'll fight the Mantis Ant again, and get a new orb.
