The land is coming back from the dark, cold time and bursting out of tree branch and patch of ground, filled with the joy of life. Simply an awesome season! The Spring of 2001 seemed to burst into life right before our very eyes! We had the feeling that Mother Nature was working overtime to catch up after the very long, cold Winter finally relented and gave up in late March.
All of us in Thisildo Realm rejoice at the coming of Spring. Months of cold and short days sends us scurrying for the great outdoors the moment the thermometer closes in on forty degrees! Of course, after a few days in the 80s, forty ceases to "warm"! With camera slung over my shoulder and The Girls with their noses to the ground, we wander the trails and delight in all the joys of Spring.

I'd had this plant for eight years and really thought I killed it when it got left outdoors over two frosty nights in early December. In late January, I noticed a tiny green shoot in the pot I'd discarded and discovered it was trying to make a come back! Just four months later and we have a beautiful plant again! :D
