Ben & Fred
Four more little ones arrived the evening of 30 June 2001! Four more tiny pink mouths with snow white tiny teeth! ;o) And just chock full of puppy enthusiasm! LOL

The seven week olds are two males and are a mix of Terrier, Cocker Spaniel, and Chow. They are both black with just a touch of white on their chests. One of the boys was adopted before I got pictures of him. Ben is currently in another foster home. He was adopted in July but returned to foster care in early October.

The nine week olds are Lab mix. There's a brown and black female, named Maggie by her new mom, and will be going to her forever home in a few days. The other male (Fred) is black with one white spot on his chest.

Ben is the Water Baby of this group! He's right there when the pans are being filled, happily lapping the water coming from the jug. Then he promptly puts his entire body (or as much as he can fit) in the pan and takes a break. Once he's thoroughly soaked, he begins bailing! ;o)

Ben is activity personified! Always running, jumping and using those snow white tiny teeth! LOL He can be calmed down for a few moments with belly rubs! :D

He's the first on in line for treats and will literally trample anyone daring to come between him and his cookie!

A more gentle little pupper is going to be hard to find. Fred will pass up treats to get his belly rubbed and loves to lay down
next to you when you're sitting on the porch. He occasionally gives little nips while trying to get your attention (or smells something especially tasty on your clothes), but prefers to give kisses.

FredFred is definitely a lover! He will give up treats for belly rubs and is content to lay by your side with his head in your lap for just as long as you'll stay.
Fred was with me the longest, 87 days. One of the Foster Dads was transporting Fred to and from Adoption Days and fell in love with "good ol' laid back Fred" and knew he would fit in real well with his five "good ol' laid back boys". :D
