That's Billie, momentarily distracted from her welcoming duties in the Courtyard by The Resident Canine Terrorist, a tree rat who really doesn't like dogs at all! </div> <bR> <div>      Take a moment to look around and listen to the bird songs before stepping into the kitchen. It's a rare treat to see our friend out in the open! </div> <bR> <bR> <div>      Spring 2001 brought field mice into The Realm for the first time. Oh, there was a mouse or two every now and again, but this was very different! There were <I>lots</I> of the little gray critters scurrying around The Village Kitchen Courtyard. Three days after noticing the little critters out in the courtyard, we discovered our Resident Black Snake had returned and brought two buddies!
