The Purrbies I have been blessed to know and love
Tiger
1979 - 1981
An amazing little man! His proudest achievement was learning how to turn on the water taps. Might have been cute had it not been the dead of winter, living in an RV, with the drainage pipe frozen! Why it couldn't have been the incoming water that froze up, I'll never understand! He so loved the running water and spent most of his time right there in the tub! That was his room and he really took an attitude when we humans wanted to use it!
Tiger was a "come with" purrbie when Jeff and I married. Tiger was a gift from my son and went everywhere with me. Tiger was stricken with FIP and went to Rainbow Bridge in less than a day.
 Daisy ~ 1978 - 1994
Sly ~ 1978-1985
Itty Bit ~ 1978-1985
Ahhh... the siblings, complete with all the territorial issues!
These purrbies were "come with", too. They were Jeff's babies. He was there when they were born and because Suzie (mama purrbie) needed to be hospitalized immediately following their birth for surgery related to the delivery, Jeff assumed the role of Mama and bottle fed these little ones and giggling (yes! grown men have been known to giggle!) when he'd wash their little bodies after feeding them.
Itty Bit - one of those "was a good idea at the time" names for he was the last kitten born and the smallest. Jeff was usually very good with naming critters <smile>. Itty Bit was a teddy bear of a purrbie and would snuggle every chance he got! And purr?! My gosh, his motor ran constantly! Even when he was sleeping, you could hear him idling! FUS claimed Itty Bit.
Sly - now, this boy really was sly! LOL Somehow he managed to attach an elastic cord between your lap and himself so that after he'd kneaded you until it hurt and you put him on the floor, he'd be back in your lap before you got straightened up! He was like quicksilver when he moved, his body a long, lean, and flowing.
Daisy - sweet, loveable, cross-eyed beauty who brought all the tails of "screeching Siamese cats" right into your face every chance she had! The most vocal critter I've ever had - and I have two fur kids who aren't half as vocal as Daisy was! Daisy was sixteen years old when she went to Rainbow Bridge.
Thunder
1988 - 1989
Thunder was such a sweet kitten. His fur was long and fluffy but he was Tabby through and through! He was the coolest dude in Dodge! He loved chasing down celephane wrappers, batting them all over the place, then bring them back so you could throw 'em again. He developed crystals in his urine that blocked the flow and after a week in the hospital, everything failed and he went to Rainbow Bridge.
Patches
1981 - 1996
My first experience with a Tuxedo purrbie and what a delight that turned out to be! Patches was born in a truck tire in the back lot of a trailer park in Tulsa, Oklahoma. And what a skinny, filthy, squalling fur ball she was! She came into a four purrbie household and immediately made her presence known! Patches was a drooler! All you had to do was look at her and she'd start drooling. I kept a roll of paper towels by my chair so I could put one under her face when she curled up in my lap for loving! Patches was fifteen when she went to Rainbow Bridge.
