PSORIASIS Research - Here's What Helps ME!

I have tried so many things over the last twenty years, that I have really lost count and interest, in all the attempts. I have seen every specialist in the land, to no avail. But for the record, I have tried

PUVA Cleared the Psoriasis completely, but took several weeks, lots of aggravation traveling to the clinic in Harley Street, and came back just the same quite quickly once treatment stopped. The upside is that it nearly always works, and you get a dam good tan. See BEN ELTON

Dovonex keeps the patches smooth, and the best thing know to mankind, apart from, well you know what. I highly recommend this cream since it has no side effects, stink, stain and is not greasy.

Dithro cream works more or less, but burns on the higher strengths, and does not last long, not to mention it STAINS everything it touches, smells and is greasy. Once again no side effects, which is a big plus.

Metosyn clears Psoriasis very quickly, but is steroid based, and therefore does nasty things like thins the skin etc. I use this very sparingly, mainly for vanity and to stay sane.

Coltar whilst being very messy does very little for me.

Diet Changes generally reduced the inflammations quite nicely and since I don't really care about Dairy and Red meats is useful to know. If only my GP had mentioned it 10 years ago

I am trying this at the moment, and will let you know. I can report at the moment that the cost is about 30 pounds per week and it tastes foul, even though it seems to work, I think. RESULTS

Holiday's abroad clear all Psoriasis patches in one or two days, but they come back about one week after I return to the UK, must be the air ?

DOOM does not help my Psoriasis, but help's get rid of lots of frustrations.

There are some other things that really help, which came as a surprise, and I did not even expect.

I went to Bolton, yes I know pretty boring, unless you are from Bolton, but then would you Holiday there, and my Psoriasis alkmost dissapeared, seemingly from the WATER. Not the water I drank but bathed in. There was some difference from Southern UK Water to the Water in Bolton which on my return I immediately set about finding.

The only difference the Waterboards could tell me about, was that Bolton Water was far more acidic, which makes sense. I have not tried to replicate this in my water supply, but would be very interested to know of any other water stories.
