Ephesians 6:12-13 ? For we wrestle not against flesh
and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the
darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Therefore, take up the full armor of
God, that you might be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all,
to stand.
In May 1994, three guys from Glendive, MT went into the studio to produce
their first demo album. The resulting demo album sold over 200 copies in
one month.
Other band members have included:
Joel Sternburg - guitars
Dustin Evans ? bass, backup vocals
In their time, Crusader was dedicated to presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ in through their music. The Crusader theme song ?Winning Warriors (for God)? is about fighting the good fight against the Devil, ?Burning Cross? is direct assault on the evil racist practices of the KKK and ?Christian Unity? is about fellowship among Christians. While the other two songs on the demo, ?Never Meant to Be? and ?Don?t Cry for Me? are not outwardly Christian, their messages fall within the confines of Christian doctrine and conduct. The members of Crusader hope and pray that listeners will be encouraged by the message of their music to strengthen their relationship with Christ.

Winning Warriors
(for God)
Brian Bishop: Vocals, Lead & Rhythm guitar
Dan Raymond: Backup Vocals & Bass
Don Bishop: Backup Vocals & Drums
Bill LaBree: Keyboards
War has broken out
And Satan's gotten loose
What you gonna do?
Grab your guns
And Satan'll be on the run
You know it will be alright
If we put up a fight...
Chorus:
Oh, you can be with me
Oh, now can't you see....
We are the Winning Warriors
We are the Winning Warriors
Warriors for God!
Get your wings
Get your flaming sword
Let's go fight for the Lord!
We'll get justice;
Justice and win
We will fight against sin
Yah, we'll fight and win!
~Chorus~
We will sing this song
to the Lord
And we'll sing it
With all of our heart
When Satan drops his sword
I wanna see Jesus drive him through
Oh, don't you wanna see it too?
~Chorus~
Never Meant to Be
Brian Bishop: Vocals, Lead & Rhythm Guitar
Dan Raymond: Bass
Don Bishop: Drums
Chorus:
I guess it was never meant to be
Us together, you and me
I wish you were mine, to God I would pray
But I know that this love only goes one way....
And that's from me....
It's been over a year now and I still love
you
Can't understand these feelings, but I know that
they're true
And I was hurtin' when you said "No"
I know you don't want me but I can't let you go
Well I guess,
~Chorus~
And I can tell by the look in your eyes
That you don't want me and it comes as no
surprise
'Cos you got your friends and I got mine
I wish I could say "You don't want me, and
that's fine"
But I can't
Well I guess,
~Chorus~
Well, I was there when you were cryin',
And I would always try to keep you smilin',
So I thought you would wanna be my lovin' one,
Well, I guess...I guess I was wrong.....
I guess it was never meant to be
Us together, you and me...
~Chorus~
Dan Raymond: Vocals & Rhythm Guitar
Brian Bishop: Backup Vocals, Lead Guitar & Bass
Don Bishop: Backup Vocals & Drums
Mighty Indian warrior
Marching off to fight
have you told your mother
You won't be home tonight?
Worried Indian mother,
Why you wait for me?
I'll be home someday,
You'll be proud of me.
Chorus:
Don't cry for me,
Don't wait for me.
Don't cry for me,
Don't wait for me.
Little Indian sister
Waiting quietly at home
Just sit by the fire
You'll be safe and warm
Little Indian brother
Why you wanna be like me?
I'm out killin' others;
You should pray for peace.
~Chorus~
DRUM SOLO!
~Chorus x3~
Dan Raymond: Vocals & Bass
Brian Bishop: Backup Vocals & Lead Guitar
Don Bishop: Drums
Dustin Evans: Trusty Cowbell Holder
Way back in the woods a man is hangin'
He's done no crime
Fought back and now his house is burnin'
While his baby cries
Hearts are burnin' with an evil passion
Hate burns within
Gotta have twisted view of my God
To kill a man 'cos the tone of his skin!
Chorus:
In the Church of the Burnin' Cross
Your soul is definitely lost
In the Church of the Burnin' Cross
Pride and ignorance are sure to be caused
In the Church of the Burnin' Cross
In the heat of the night your Klan is
gatherin'
To listen to lies
Your wife's wonderin' where you could be goin'
So late in the night
Hearts are burnin' with an evil passion
Hate burns within
Gotta have twisted view of my God
To teach your son all the ways of your sin!
~Chorus~
You light up the fields
With your burnin' cross
Can't hide your heart
From the eyes of God
Under your sheet of white
~Chorus~
Spoken: "If you'd like to be part
of a superior race, call 1-800-4KKK"
(Sarcastically) "Oh, yeah, I'm
interested. (laugh)"
Brian Bishop: Vocals & Rhythm Guitar

Yes, I know that the times are tough
A lot of Christians said they've had enough
And they've fallen away
I wanna tell them I got something to say
Chorus:
We need to stand together
We need to pray for each other
'Cos I know it'll be ok with you and me
in Christian Unity
We've been puttin' down one another
When we should pick each other up
When you see someone cryin'
(whispered) You should be there
Let them know that Jesus cares
~Chorus x4~
