Tim Commerford(Bass)
Tim Commerford, aka Timmy C, aka
Tim Bob, aka Simmering T, aka y.tim.k. Tim has used a different alias on each CD
but his real name is Tim Commerford. Tim is the bassist of the band and was
Zack's childhood friend, also Zack was the one who got tim into music and
introduced him to the bass. His
skills and the power of his bass playing are evident in the songs "Bullet
in the Head" and "Clear the Lane.". Tim's
father is an aeronautics/space engineer who works on the space shuttle, his mum
was a mathematician until she got brain cancer and died when Tim was 20 years
old. Because of this Tim's dad
divorced her and re-married. Tim vents his anger through poetry, art, and
music. " I
have alot of anger towards certain things - for example the police. I understand
what they're all about and I don't like what they do to people, and I draw
pictures of what I would like to do to them. And it's not good things. It's
mean, horrible things...Someday I'll display my art for people to see, but right
now it just kind of scares me.". Tim
listens to Inside Out, (Zack's first band), and really likes jazz.
He
enjoys flag football to quite an extensive degree, and even got other members of
the band involved.
He thinks that 'Rage Against the Machine' is something different than
music, it's more an educational thing. Tim also has plans to change his name for
each album!
