To our dear sweet little girl,
For nine years you gave us so many happy memories, memories that we'll
always
hold dear to us. You are the best dog we've ever had, and we just want
to say thank
you for everything you've given us. You were our guardian, our
protector, our best
friend, our confidant, and most of all, you were our family member,
and we will always
cherish the time you spent with us. We'll miss playing "Where's
my bone?!" with you,
asking to shake our hands, or even ask you to speak. We'll miss those
great big beautiful
eyes, and that lovingly snobbish attitude you would sometimes give us.
Our house may
still have Cutie and Kona around, but without you, it still feels a
bit empty, as it does in
our hearts.
So take great care sweetheart, and rest well. Have fun and be safe at
Rainbow Bridge,
playing with all your new friends. Be sure to say hello to our friend
Ace while you're there,
and all the other dogs that have graced our families doors. Be good
while you're there
without us, don't chase the cats like you use to or get mad at brown
dogs - God doesn't
like a naughty dog.
And until that day when we meet again, you will always hold a dear and
special place in
our hearts. Perhaps we'll be able to visit you sometime in ours
dreams, and pet and play
with you again, but until we truly get to Rainbow Bridge, know that we
love you very much,
and can't wait to see you again :) Thank you Nike, from all of us
here, missing you :)
