You were too bowlegged to win a blue
ribbon at a dog show, but you took first
place for sweetness.
You loved being outdoors. Whenever
we told you that you were going for a walk
you practically pulled us out the door in your excitement, trotting
impossibly fast
on those stubby little legs.
You loved your tummy rubs. Whenever
we talked to you, almost if is on cue,
you would roll onto your back and wait for us to pat and rub that fat
little belly.
You loved us. You began each day at
Bruce's feet as he read the morning paper
and every evening found you by his side in the family room. Those
places are
so empty without you now.
You were loved. You were there
through proms and graduations, birthdays and
anniversaries, new jobs and new homes. You shared all the ups and
downs with
us during the past eleven years.
Good-bye Bipper, our sweet, gentle
Scottie dog. Your time with us was brief
but the love you gave us and the memories we have of you will last a
lifetime.
Love from your family,
Bruce, Janice and Cristi
