HOW TO BUILD A BETTER RAT TRAP
I've always heard that if you build a better mouse trap,
the world will beat a path to your door. I'm not sure I
want a bunch of rodent-infested people beating around my
door, but I will offer you this rattrap. Just stay away
from my door.
you will need a sturdy knife, some peanut butter, and a sixpack (16 oz tall-boys) of beer.
I.
Drink the sixpack.
II.
Cut a > shaped notch in the side of one can,
with the point about 1.5 inches from the top. Cut an identical notch
opposite the first.
III.
Cut the top off the can.
IV.
Bend the notches toward the bottom of the can,
being careful not to cut yourself on the edges. They should form a
30 degree angle from the can. Your can should now resemble
V.
Do the same with the other 5 cans.
VI.
Daub a teaspoon of peanut butter in the bottom
of each can. Place the cans in areas where you have seen rat signs-
gnawing, droppings, etc.
The rat will be able to crawl into the can to eat the peanut butter.
See
. The bent-over notches will act
like barbs on a fish hook, preventing the rat from backing out of the
can.
Once you have caught a rat, pick it up by its nasty little tail,
and drop it in a bucket of water. The rat will soon stop moving,
and can be discarded, can and all.
