The Supersonics will realize they have made a mistake in trading Maggette. However, with one already gone, they should be keen on Rashard Lewis. With Rashard Lewis a free agent, they should resign him and not allow him to jump to another team. When the Sonics drafted Rashard Lewis early in the second round, they looked at Lewis as a project. Right now, Rashard Lewis is a budding superstar. He started for the Soncis during the playoffs and even played very well. Well, the talent he showed during the playoffs were just a sign of more things to come for Lewis. | |||||||||||||||||
| Coming out of high school, Lewis took a chance and applied into the NBA Draft pool. He did not get things in his way and was selected early in the second round. However, like true talent coming from High School, Lewis confidence wasn't rattled. Like Kobe and Garnett who saw minimal playing time during his first year, Lewis still believed in himself and worked on his game. Indeed Lewis is a future star.
