Even though the great number 23 comes from UNC, Joseph Forte might have been the greatest freshman as a Tarheel ever. Right from his debut where he scored over 20 points, there was something special was this freshman. He was the first freshman to lead UNC in scoring. He was the lone bright spot of the Tarheel when they were struggling during the regular season. His big game against Tennesse brought them to the Final Four. Now the 2nd year comes out for Forte. There will be tons of pressure on his shoulders to even have a better year than he had than last year. Forte will be tested as he will no longer have backcourt mate Ed Cota to do all the handling of the ball and giving Forte easy looks at the basket. | |||||||||||||||||
| Forte will be severly tested this year. He might get picked as a pre-season All-American. He will be expected by everybody to perform. Teams will come up to him with more pressure. And if Forte comes out with a big year and live up with expectations, then Forte is indeed something more than special. | |||||||||||||||||
