No Title

After basically running home from school, with Nelly, Jassy and a couple of other friends, we quickly started the music and instantly started to put finish touches on the costumes. After messing with Pluto's bun a little longer, we decided to rehearse some more before they had to leave. After a bit of perfecting the dance, S.K came over and left me her wig and costume to mess around with. We worked some more on the dance moves and was interrupted by the horn of Nelly and Jassy's mother's car. Since, SK was staying over at Nelly's she just left with them leaving me to work on the costumes again.

I was busy trying to pull Jupiter's wig into a ponytail ( Still don't know why she just didn't dye her hair and go with a hair piece ^_^ ) and Isabel called me. She told me that she had a friend coming over for the weekend and if she could come. Being the nice person that I was *wink wink* I told her sure but she'll be $15.00 and I didn't have any extra money to pay for her so she was on her own amongst that. We went over the time she would have to meet me over at my house-which was 4:30- and what to bring for her costume since she wasn't able to make rehearsals for the last 2 days. Maybe 5-10 minutes later we got off the phone and I continued to screw with the wigs determined to get them perfect.

My mother and I left to B&I to get some more hair things for the group. Being that I was supposed to be at Nelly's house by 8:00 we didn't have that much time to look around. We went straight over to the bright spymtic hair section and picked out the color that I best thought fit Usagi. I was happy that we had her hair extension, maybe it was the best kind of hair but it was cheap and I would get away with paying only $4.00 but then the unthinkable happened. I happen to run into the silky extension which looked better then the packet I had in my hand but was also $3.00 more then that also. Being the perfectionist that I am with extension I wanted so much to get them but my budget was so tight that even if I did buy those I would be out of money to get into the convention which couldn't happen. So, we walked around for about 10 minutes ( It was already 7:55) and finally I decided that I could go cheap this time. I mean this was only our first, fast put together performance what could they expect? I mean would could possibly go wrong? Hair was hair, and so on and so on. I should of known better.

My mother dropped me off at Nelly's house and told me to call her when I was ready to come home. Once I got in I was scolded for being an half an hour late ( I deserved it) and we soon went on to applying the nail color of our character. I was painting SK's nails and Nelly was painting Jassy's when the phone rung. Nobody got up to get the first time because no one heard it then when I finally shouted ( Told you I was bossy) the phone was ringing it stopped. I checked the caller ID and saw it was Isabel. Dinelle called her back the first time and our background was to loud so we just hung up after waiting 10 minutes I tried and got a hold of her. We talked for about 2 minutes then the worst thing ever happened. Actual conversation:

I was just wanting to reach through the phone and strangle her by her neck and thought I could of said something worse. So, I was pretty happy that I didn't say what I was thinking and by the time the phone got passed around relieved I didn't say anything worse. I thought I had temper problems, I actually had to the tell them to give me back the phone ( See the irony there-wasn't my house but I'm still giving out directions). It was a good thing to see though, the group actually acting like a group...like a family. Isabel did wrong and everybody gave her a small piece of their mind and I was the one to comfort at the end. Anyhow when I got the phone back, actually it was kind of thrown but heh it could of been worse, Isabel sounded like she was about to/already crying. That cooled off my temper a bit and I told her actually how I felt about what she was doing to the group without raising my voice. I told her that we would talk to her later because we had work to do. Not even the wisest of the wise could predict what would happen when I hung up the phone. First we should of thought why even go the show was ruined but that wasn't the first thought. We started to play the 'Beeping Game' (Please don't ask because those people who know us know that it's something out of the blue) to take out our anger.

Actually 20 minutes later Nelly's older sister came in and told us to keep it down since we had to get up early in the morning. When Nelly actually told her the time we had to get up she literally yelled for us to get into the bed at that moment. And how if she didn't she would spank all of us, I would of became so red if I could of I was so embarrassed about the rest of the group saying that she couldn't spank me because I'm physically taller and bigger then her. When she finally left, I told them what that made me think about and everybody started laughing and throwing things at me. ( This was a real convention but it was turning out to be more of a just doing it for fun thing so things got a little perverted from there.) They convinced me to stay since Isabel wasn't coming over and since we clearly weren't gonna get any practice done, we decided to call it a night and just wake up at 2:00 and rehearse a little there. I called my mother and she took me the house to get the stuff that I needed.

When I got there all the lights were out and everybody was all in bed ( the three other group members, not the rest of the house even though it was a lot more toned down then it was before). That scared the death out of my because I'm a night owl, 2. I was hyper and 3. They would be wanting me to get into the bed as soon as I got in. I just knew that wasn't going to happen so I complained and said I would try to but wasn't to be blamed about the things that could happen. Maybe 20 minutes after I got in the bed Jassy came in and wanted to sleep with us for a while ( it was so cute), during that time we were all in ecchi land and like I said earlier anything that happened wasn't my fault (even though that one was...^_^;;).

The alarm sounded and Nelly and I was the only one who responded to it. We both just sat there for about a minute and it finally went off. I said that we could go to sleep until 2:45 but 20 minutes later Jassy came in. That was our sign to get up. Nelly got out of bed to turn the lights on and I laid there trying to get my mind straight then got up and woke SK up. Even though it was 2:30 in the morning everyone managed to get into the spirit of the day. Thinking that we would have a big crowd to face, I wanted to everyone to ruse. Of course this would be the day where nothing wanted to act right. The wigs wouldn't go on right, SK's pant glitter fell all over the bathroom floor and her wig just wouldn't look right.

We finally made it to the hotel and after walking around, finally finding the place we were suppose to be our face dropped. We were the first people in line and not to mention that the sun wasn't even out yet. I was kind of ticked but my performing attitude calmed me down a little. I sent SK and Nelly to call SK's dad to make sure he was still coming and I would stay with Jassy. We spent maybe 20 minutes by ourselves out there and finally I was concerned. Jassy and I talked about if she wanted to go or if I should go and trust that she'll be OK. Either way I would be trusting her to stay by herself. I figured it would be better if I went because I could find my back and wouldn't have to worry about anyone grabbing me and also Jassy had people inside watching her. We knocked on the glass (yes, we had to stand outside in the rain, well in a over cover thingy) and asked the guard to show us where the phone was. On our way there we find the two clowns on their way back. I thanked the guard and walked back with them keeping my eyes on Jassy even though we all could see her from where we were.

I wanted to do the Japanese Slang but Nelly wanted to do the Bandai panel and differently wanted to see getting a job in anime, Jassy didn't care and SK wanted to do the Japanese Slang and Bandai. Being the great compromiser I am ( LOL) I thought that we could eat some real food then practice some more while Nelly did the getting a job thing. We ordered a pizza ( Canadian Bacon, Chese, and Pepperoni), and I ordered some fries with a Mellow Yellow ( YAY! More cafine! Just what I need!).

Nelly finally came back and everything was going fine until people started bickering and I couldn't keep their attention anymore. Not being the best time in the world SK's father starts giving us 'encouragement' speech ( Quotes: "Don't expect to win." " Don't expect anything to come from this" etc. etc. ). This was just making us feel worse about what we were doing so I tried to find a place to cut him off so he wouldn't kill the already wounded egos of ours. We carried on and decided that we would run though the song 2 more times perfectly before we left for the cosplay rehearsal.

I had the biggest stomach arch ever. I tried to recap everything I ate today and nothing had ever bugged me before like this was. I took another sip of my pop and finally thought about it..I had drunk to many Mellow Yellows. Not only was I hyped with caffeine but my stomach kept me from releasing the hyperness which turned that into aggravation. When they asked for the leaders of the group to go up, I had Nelly go up for me and also for the lighting when they asked for that. I knew that I was still gonna get on that stage and perform but was it gonna be with a smile or not a smile?

We were all back stage and ready to rehearse but that didn't really happen and that made me more nervous. I was nervous about the group, my stomach was beginning to feel a little better, I still had some more energy to give off, and Jassy and Nelly were having their sister's bickers. That was it! I whipped around and stood right in front of Jassy and Nelly and basically yelled at them. I screamed about how we weren't going to have them bickering in front of these people and I'd be darned if they go on stage with an attitude. Basically it was just things like that...hehe. I still wonder how many people heard me but basically after that I did feel a lot better. ^_^;;

It was time and weren't able to get on stage. SK was getting nervous, Nelly was being talkative to the act behind us, Jassy was in her little corner and silent as a mouse ( I think she was still mad at me [No one can be mad at me for long especially Jassy] and her piercing eyes were glazed. I would've been surprised if she had dropped out on stage ) And me? I was cool, stretching, trying to talk the girls into doing their best, apologizing for yelling at Nelly and Jassy and trying to control the new found energy all at once. It was the group in front of our groups turn and what happen next was a HUGE surprise for both us and them. OUR music started to play while they were doing a skit. I felt so bad for them, we ruined their skit but the worse part now was calming down SK again. It was our turn and we quickly got onto the stage ( I wish I would have known that my boots would of made that kind of noise on the stage. All you could hear was me walking. ) The girls did their parts then when I finished my part ( Isabel was supposed to be my partner but yeah you know) we started singing and we still had another dance section to go. We all looked at each other and instantly knew just to go on no matter what happened. We picked back up and I was first to do my solo which I tried to the tactic of blinding myself in the big white light. I avoided the audience's eyes and did my part with one flaw which wasn't noticeable but I just ranted to them during lunch on how I wanted to change it and wanted it look perfect. Everything else went as smoothly as it could go for what happened. Jassy's part I can't really remember but I do believe she did it OK but not with a smile, SK sang and smiled and Nelly did as perfect as I. The next big mess up was the next dancing section that Jassy and SK basically almost forget. The lights went out like they were planned to and we forget that were gonna come back on so we could bow but everyone was so mad that it slipped our minds ( OK, OK it didn't slip Nel's. ) We even almost went off the wrong way. My feet were killing me and walking out there into the hall was like walking on spikes. I ignored my feet problems to try and cheer up the group, especially SK and we went back inside to watch the rest of the show...not to mention that we had to stand!

We made a straight run for the door after I called my mother to let her know I wouldn't need a ride and found SK's dad. Everybody was upset and it didn't help that her dad didn't take pictures because they asked him not to and that we could get them outside but it was so crowded that he said next time he'll just take the pictures. Next time we'll have a video camera. He took us out for some ice cream ( I got Daiquiri ice wasn't exactly alcohol but came as close as it could. Funny thing is I hate drinking ) we were all taking home, everybody was so embarrassed but the guy behind us when we were back stage said that not all conventions were like these. Next year we will rock! This I do guarantee!

When I looked at the buns I instantly knew her hair wouldn't work because it was to long but it did look cute though. Since it was almost time to leave and we still didn't have our makeup on, I said I would finish her hair in the car and do her hair. *~ 4:30 ~* We were driving down the street when suddenly SK shouts out that she forgot her money. We headed back and I went in with her so we could get some paper and call my mother to tell that we were leaving. It wasn't already bad enough that we were freezing outside but it was something to drink. *~ 7:30 ~* SK's dad finally got there and people were starting to show up more so we had to gather our stuff and put it somewhere ( We actually had it all spread out like we owned that area. ) Basically we all talked for a while and practiced dance small dance moves for another 40-70 minutes. *~ 9:00 ~* Warmness! Sweet warmness! The building was finally opened up and we got in and actually got the tickets we were all concerned that we wouldn't get. We rested for about 10 minutes then we rushed off to the bathroom destined to put our makeup on. *~ 10:00 ~* We ate some more sweets and walked around looking all the costumes and something to do.
