Meet Lena, who is another adoptee from the Champaign County Humane Society, and Lucy,
who is an eight week old Texas native that Lisa adopted after she was found by an acquaintance.
After a day of sulking and refusing to eat, Lena has adjusted quite well to
having a kitten around, and they've been caught playing together a bit.
Menace
Hello, my name is Menace, I am 1 1/2 years old and I am a rescued kitty. My
Mommy (Bridget) adopted me from the SPCA on May 5, 2000. I will always love
them for it. Above is is a picture of one of the ways I thank my mommy for adopting me!
We got along great right from the start. She came to SPCA on
her lunch break looking for a kitten, but saw me and wanted to take me home
instead! She had to leave me there for the rest of the afternoon until she
was done with work, I was worried that she wouldn't come back for me so I
just meowed my heart out until she came back. She took me home and I just
love it there! I don't really like everything there, like the vacuum and
taking baths, but I guess I can live with it. My mommy made me
