OUR SECOND REASON FOR LIVING
THERE IS NOTHING LIKE A LOVING DAUGHTER

Sorry, your browser doesn't support Java.
Our daughter Dawn was born in Camp Zama Hospital on August 4,1969. Camp Zama is just outside of Tokyo, Japan.
She came into the world on the worst day and the best day. The best because we so looked forward to her arrival. We were just like all new parents: anxious to see what you have produced (boy or girl),how their personalities will develop, and to give them all the love you have to give and then more. The worst because there just happen to be a Typhoon going on outside. As Jim was driving us to the hospital, we remember the trees laying down across the road, the wind and rain whipping around us. Scared that we wouldn't make it (least I was).
Dawn always amazed us and at times scared the hell out of us. Like the time we were at the swimming pool and I turned my back for a second, she was 11 months old and just dived in. Being as I don't know how to swim, you can imagine how I scared I was. She was always into things, was the center of attention, and loved music (anykind). She loved to listen to Donnie Osmond and Michael Jackson. Her godparents, Lonnie & Mona Stout; spoiled her rotten, but you couldn't ask for better people to be godparents. They were good people.
She is a daughter anyone would be proud to call daughter. If I close my eyes, I can still see this blue eyed, brown haired little beauty with her Easter Basket in one hand and her Raggedy Cinderella doll in the other.

ABOUT MICHAEL<br>

ABOUT MICHAEL

Our Grandkids mean so very much to us!
Michael is so very handsome and is so curious about everything. I keep telling him that he is smart and to use those smarts to be everything he can. He has such potential (just have to make him realize that). He loves skateboarding and riding his bike; and is this boy ever into video games, he makes me look awful and I am not that bad at them. He is usually pretty helpful when it comes to watching his sister, and he is his grandma's helper when she has heavy stuff to carry in.
Mic loves to watch racing and is really into hotrods. He will be our multi-talented mechanic I am pretty sure of that. How can he miss with his grandpa as a home mechanic and his mom as a body mechanic.

ABOUT KEGAN
THANK YOU GOD FOR KEGAN

THANK YOU GOD FOR KEGAN

He was just an angel loaned to us,
His future not even thought of.

He was just an angel loaned to us,
Our future still filled with his love.

He was just an angel loaned to us,
His dreams not meant to be.

He was just an angel loaned to us,
Our visions of him are all we see.

He was just an angel loaned to us,
His heavenly body we'll never feel.

He was just an angel loaned to us,
Our dreams of seeing his gossamer wings so real.

He was just an angel loaned to us,
But we want to thank you GOD

For the chance to hold...

THE ANGEL THAT YOU LOANED US.

ABOUT TAYLOR
OUR TINY TERROR

OUR TINY TERROR

Taylor can be one of the most loving little girls one minute and terrorizing the dogs the next. You yell at her, you punish her, but there is that little pout that makes you want to pick her up and hug her.
She came into everyones lives at the perfect time. We all needed something to take our minds off the loss of one of her brothers (Kegan). You could tell from the way she smiled, that she had Grandpa exactly were she wanted him, (wrapped around her little finger).
I can not help but wonder where she gets all her energy. It is all I can do to keep up with her. The easiest way to calm her down for 5 minutes is to pop any one of THE LAND BEFORE TIME movies into the VCR. She drives her brother Michael nuts with that movie. And boy does she love the trampoline. I think she could live on it.
I yell and chase her like there is no tomorrow, but that little girl has made my life another reason to go on living. Taylor Grandma loves you.
