DAUGHTER NUMBER ONE AND FAMILY
Lisa was born on March 10 of 1966 to Jim and Bonnie. She came into the world at Fitzsimons Army Hospital. When she was born, Jim was overseas in Okinawa serving in the Army.

PART OF OUR LEGACY TO THE FUTURE

Our grandchildren are an important part of our lives. To us they are a look into the future and they are precious to us for more reasons than we can count. To anyone who has grandkids, they will know what we are talking about. You look at them and wonder how they have the energy to do all that they do. They make you feel old and young at the same time.

TABITHA
When our oldest grandchild was born, you would have thought we were the proudest grandparents on earth. She still makes us feel that way. When we look at her, we see a beautiful young lady that can not do anything wrong. It is hard to realize that we almost lost her to Spinal Meningitis when she was but a baby. I look at her and know that she will make some man a beautiful wife and a great mother to some very lucky little children. She makes us so proud to be related to her.

ANGELA
With Angela, she was always so delicate and we knew she would always be the feminine one. She is like a butterfly. Always fluttering from one thing to another. She has childhood asthma and has not had an easy time of it. But she always rolled with the punches and when knocked her down, she sprang right back with more energy than anyone ever thought she would have. When she was little she always wanted to be in a dress and if her hair was not just right, she would have you re do it. She was just getting ready for being a teenager I think. Watching her turn into a lady is going to be one of our greatest joys.

RICHARD
Rich is growing so fast that it is hard for us to keep up with him. He excels at sports and he loves to rough house. He has always been the apple of his mother's and his Aunt Jamie's eye. Probably because he was the first boy in the family. When you look into those blue eyes, he wraps himself around your heart. I remember how he always seemed to be so hyper, but he slowed down and it was like it was overnight. I look so forward to seeing what kind of man he becomes because he is such a handsome little boy that is growing up to fast.

ARIEL
Our freckled face little muppet. She is the youngest of Lisa's children and the one that always has a hug for Grandma and Grandpa. Her nickname has always been YoYo. Not even sure how she got that nickname, but it has stuck with her this long. Her best friend has always been her cousin Rhianan. We don't get to see Ariel enough and it is really hard not to be there for some of the important days of her life. But the times we do see her are precious and to watch her turning into a beautiful little girl is enough for the moment.

Not seeing our grandkids is really hard. You don't get to see them do the things in life that count. Like Tabitha's first prom, Angela's trying out for cheerleading, Richard's first baseball game, and Ariel's school musicals. I could say that there is always tomorrow, but as the song goes: If Tomorrow Never Comes.
