SUNDAY OPENER: Announce to the class that you are looking for anonymous tips about Christian benevolence and love that is been done within your group. Provide a box (of the "Suggestion Box" variety) where members can write a brief comment about some service or attitude shown by another member. The Secret Praise could be about a witnessing effort, a Christian stand in the face of opposition, or encouragement to a person who needs it. After you have selected a particular member, open up the next Sunday morning Bible study by reading the "nomination." After the applause, reward the 'winner' with a mocha latte or a special coffee of the morning! This act of encouraging Christian action will be a strong lesson even before you delve into the Scripture study!

FOUR IDEAS FOR YOUR YOUTH GROUP THIS WEEK:

1. Serve hot cider with cinnamon sticks in mugs to each teen as they come in for the teen meeting.
2. Teens sign their name and write out their favorite verse along with a prayer request. on a 3x5 card and exchange it with someone else in the room.
3. The graduating seniors in the group must give an impromptu challenge on either Gal. 2:20 or John 1:1-4 next Sunday morning. The challenge must be no more than two minutes.
4. The teens create a bulletin board so that visitors can see what the youth group is doing. This includes pictures.
