AMINO ACID THERAPY
AVAILABLE AT HOT FROM MAY 1998
Amino Acid Therapy, now used extensively in Russia, is a method of treating brain damage
and abnormality developed by Professor Alexander Khokhlov, a Russian Professor of
biochemistry and neurology.
HOW IT WORKS
1. The approach encourages the poorly functioning brain to switch permanently to reserve cells which have the potential to
function normally.
2. Specific amino acids detected by Professor Khokhlov during his 30 years research in Russia can help these reserve nerve
cells to take over the function of the abnormal or dead cells.
3. The amino combinations have been developed in such a way that on ingestion the active ingredients pass through the liver
without being destroyed.
4. They then replenish the hurt brain's need for amino acids naturally so making up the deficiency.
5. This strengthens the system so that the brain's spontaneous demand for amino and the natural manufacture of amino in the
body also increases.
6. The approach is absolutely harmless since the amino preparations are the same as caused by brain swelling because of
injury of by abnormal brain structure, as in, for example, Downs Syndrome.
7. The deficiency occurs because of abnormal cerebral metabolism which can be caused by brain swelling because of injury or
by abnormal brain structure, as in, for example, Down's Syndrome.
8. Restoring amino acid metabolism helps to normalise the brain's growth and function.
WHAT CAN BE TREATED?
1. Cerebral Palsy
2. Learning Difficulties
3. Autism
4. Epilepsy
5. Hereditary Nervous Conditions
6. Syndromes
7. Craniocerebral Traumas
8. Stroke
9. Multiple Sclerosis
10. Parkinson's Disease
11. Dementia in Alzheimer's
12. Dependent States, e.g. drug addictions
STATISTICAL RESULTS AND OBSERVATIONS
(Source = Primavera Medica, Moscow)
CP: Positive dynamics reported in 95% of cases
Learning Difficulties: 100% of subjects improved their IQ
Down's and other chromosomal disorders: Individuals become more active, stronger, more attentive and begin to grow somewhat
Traumatic Injuries: 90% of subjects improved over 50%
Multiple Sclerosis: 82% of cases reduced symptoms by more than 50% and in addition a state of stable remission is achieved in the majority of cases
Epilepsy: Reduction or elimination of attacks in 90-95% of cases
THE FOOD SUPPLEMENT ADVISOR
HOT is fortunate to have the services of Dr Olga Gerismova who qualified in medicine at the Moscow Medical Academy and
later obtained a post graduate Ph.D in medicine. She is a member of the Moscow City Society of Neuropathologists and is
one of the most eminently qualified and respected members of the staff at Primavera Medica.
We have worked very hard to bring Dr Gerismova here to help children and adults gain their full neurological potential and we
hope you will be interested in the implication of the approach.
EVALUATION AND TREATMENT
Begins with a minimum of 2 visits to the Centre per week for two consecutive weeks while the amino dose is decided upon,
monitored and perfected. The aminos are then taken for a further 6 weeks. Follow- ups occur 3-4 months from each previous
visit. Small changes are generally observable from the beginning of the course. Depending on the severity and type of problem,
between 2 and 5 visits may be recommended.
FURTHER INFORMATION
In order to help you understand what positive changes may be possible for your child, the following parents who took part in
HOT's successful pilot study have willingly agreed to discuss their results over the telephone (all are UK telephone numbers):
Rina Dunn 01642 654565
Suzie Nicholson 00353 23 49807
Paola Gibbs 0171 3261316

EXAMPLE OF THE AMINOS USED
Lipids to decrease hyperactivity in the brain
Glucaprim to take the calcium out of the cell to clean up the cell
Aminovil to increase the level of dopamine in the brain naturally
Neurovit general action in particular the reticular formation to help coordinate messages
Neuroprim to stimulate the whole brain
Aminopruminol to enhance regulatory action for different biochemical pathways
These aminos give natural support to supplement the injured brain's deficiency which is observable by the
range of functional difficulties shown by affected individuals.
If you wish to take this further, please request a booking form by sending us a self-addressed envelope (also stamped if resident in the UK).
