A Bison tribal venture.

The bison are offering an opportunity for you and your clan, band, or tribe to recapture some of that feeling of intimacy with our community of life.

Those who have followed the trial and error methods of the bison on their ongoing quest for "our" place within the animate fractal, their proper place as humans, well know the joy, serenity, and camaraderie of living "outdoors" from new moon to full moon and back again. Our search has led us across country where we have met, shared the sweat of our brow, and broken bread with many humans, animal-people, and plant spirits. We are living a vision, and that vision is leading to a lifestyle (hopefully one we may share with many generation of bison to come). We cannot give up our animist vision (which we share with many others), so our lifestyle (way of making a living (getting the material items we need to live)) will adhere to that vision no matter how we tinker with the methodology.

Our offer is to be your guide to a small part of the fractal (that ordered chaos, self-similarity, and infinite thing we call life). Come see Chimney Flats and meet the three sister hemlocks and the river of song which animate that place. Come experience the difference of 1000 feet, meet the burrowing yellow-jacket people that guard it's entrance. Come have your own dreams (which if you stayed for a lifetime, we would share) on the ancient trading route recently called the south Kelsey trail (20 miles of deep valley ridged trails over looking the smith river. Come great the bears at Bear Wallow, or take a sweat at buck creek.

These things you could find on your own, and it would be wonderful, but we offer some benefits as guides. The bison share food, and we do the cooking. The bison provide a guide to the edible plant-spirits and include them in some meals. The bison share the forest with our psylocibin sister, who love to live through us, see with our eyes, feel with our hearts. Our band includes Big-Man-Cheats-Death, a healer (former E.M.T. on those super fast helicopters and part time professional health care provider (the bison prefer modern medicine for most conditions)) to provide an extra security on those treks into the wilderness. The bison will share the history of those wonderful mountains, and share our stories and dreams for humanity and ourselves. Rest, music, and dance should go without saying.

This is our first attempt at a tribal venture. It can include as many people as the lifestyle can provide for, and there is still room in the band many others. The venture is only available to those who can look beyond value (we will not except cash, checks, credit cards, or any other illusionary object our culture may value.) We will trade for tradable items, stories, but most of all for the opportunity to practice reciprocity (preferable for a lifetime).
