Model 9908
The 9908 kit as shown on the home page is a short afternoon project to assemble for a person working alone. A curious dog can add a bit of time!
Included in the kit are all required precut, pre-formed PVC pipe with fittings, all hinges, latches, cables and turnbuckles, gasketing for the door and window, plus a illustrated assembly manual. The dog is optional.
Coverings for greenhouses are always a major concern. These frames have been designed to allow the purchaser to use standard fiberglass or twin-wall polycarbonate panels if the situation requires the strength or additional R factor. Personally, I've found the added expense and difficulty of the polycarbonate panels to not warrant the expense. If you have children or rambunctious pets (is there a difference?), I'd recommend fiberglass paneling to the bench-top level. Local cost for fully fiberglassing this unit runs about $200 at present. 6 mil visqueen covers survive for about 1 1/2 years here in north Florida, are cheap, and easily replaced. We do not currently stock UV resistant greenhouse plastic or shade cloth but outfits such as AT Plastics or Green-Tek are likely on-line sources.
