CHOROSZY MODELBUD
1:72 RWD 25
'In The Box Review'

Reviewer: Jakub Marszalkiewicz (mig15bis@poczta.onet.pl)
The only model of RWD-25 is the resin „Choroszy Modelbud” 1:72 scale kit.
The Model contains many (hypothetical) details, cast in very good resin quality. Dimensions are also good.

Instructions show one fictional painting of RWD-25 from ITL – Aviation Technics Institute with olive fuselage and white fin (insignia of ITL).

I think its a very interesting and rare aircraft for all enthusiast of WW II aviation, particularly those interested in Polish aviation history.
Type: Light „Jockey type” fighter
History: Design of RWD-25 was created during spring 1939 by DWL (Doswiadczalne Warsztaty Lotnicze – Experimental Aviation Works). It was to be a light fighter designed with the French „Jockey” idea – light fast climbing fighter with good manoeuvrability, which attacks by fast diving. The first work on the RWD-25 began in spring/summer 1939 by H. Milcer, J. Idzikowski and T. Chylinski. All work was stopped when in September 1939, Germans and Soviets invaded Poland. The first prototype was to be flown in summer 1940. Some sources even suggest that the prototype RWD-25/I even flew in 1939(?).
