Orange Bengal Tigers can give birth to White Tigers if they both have the gene, but the births tend to be difficult or worse. They have not been seen in the wild for over 50 years. They are among the 5 surviving subspecies of tigers, there were 8 subspecies. Conservation efforts are being made, however many prove to be unsuccessful.
