Michigan tax </div> <div> payers should lobby for the creation of a bill demanding that when the law is </div> <div> broken by MDOC/Parole Board Officials, that they hire their own lawyers to </div> <div> defend their often capricious actions. Do tax payers really want their hard </div> <div> earned dollars used to "defend" those who knowingly break the law, and pay </div> <div> the judgments levied against them. Const. 1963, act, art. XI, 1 requires </div> <div> officials to take an oath to abide by the constitution and laws of the state. </div> <div> Under Const. 1963 art 1-1," it provides that all government is all political </div> <div> power inherent in the people. Government is instituted for the Equal Benefit, </div> <div> security and protection." When MDOC officials purposely violate law resulting </div> <div> in challenges these officials are called Defendants. yet they are zealously </div> <div> defended by the chief law enforcement officer of Michigan at the taxpayers </div> <div> expense. The attorney general should be preventing those violations rather </div> <div> than defending defendants. The law books are full of cases in which the </div> <div> attorney general defends barbaric, decadent practice of MDOC/Parole board </div> <div> officials sending a clear message that their is no accountability and tax </div> <div> payers pay hundreds of millions.</div> <div> Rick Crowell #144211</div> <bR> <div> ___________________________________________________________</div> <bR> <div> In April this reporter wrote an article entitled "M.D.O.C. Coming </div> <div> attractions". This article was in regard to the building of an 83 milliion </div> <div> dollar, 1500 man prison in Ionia called the Bellamy Creek Facility that now </div> <div> sits empty because there are not, despite the parole boards best efforts to </div> <div> keep beds full, enough convicts to fill this prison. This simple means the </div> <div> Parole Board, for all intents and purposes a new branch of government which </div> <div> answers to nobody, will step up their efforts in fiscal years 2001-2002 until </div> <div> not only is Bellamy Creek full but the MDOC/Parole Board begins screaming for </div> <div> expansion</div> <div> As too the Bellamy creek Facility heres an additional fact that should </div> <div> outrage the michigan taxpayers, especially those who have experienced budget </div> <div> cuts to much needed programs. THe bellamy Creek facility is reportedly </div> <div> "staffed" by correctional officers and other personnel. Each month that </div> <div> bellamy creek -an empty prison- remains staffed, 10 michigan children coould </div> <div> go to college however 10 michigan children will probably go to prison </div> <div> instead. MDOC/Parole Board officals want people to come to prison, become </div> <div> products and never again become productive members of society.</div> <div> There is a social monster in your midst michigan taxpayers that has for </div> <div> over a decade conducted it's evil business in secrecy, and through blatant </div> <div> propoganda, NO MORE! Isn't the information age a lovely thing? For thr first </div> <div> time ever taxpayers are getting a rare glimpse of the truth and many of you </div> <div> must be taking action as MDOC/Parole Board officals are stepping up their </div> <div> efforts to stop the movement I began. Recently this reporter was issued a </div> <div> DIRECT ORDER, in writing, to ccease writing articles against the MDOC. Is </div> <div> such an order in violation of the first ammendment to the U.S. Constitution </div> <div> and the michigan constitution? Of course it is!
