Surralia was born in a Seahold where most of the women were incredibly beautiful, but not so bright. Where she fits into the beauty category nicely, she's not a complete ditz. Her best friend for most of her life has been Shoiyse, a twin in a large family of all girls except for one brother. One brother that she found to be very, very attractive. However, she gave herself to another, who was sadly killed at sea before they could publicly announce anything. She was left to bear a child with no father, and to raise him as best she could. But she keeps going just fine, she's a tough little thing.
