Nutters Assignments
Our first assignment was to follow a tutorial and make a vase. hmmm... okay, I made The Realm Fairy, surely I could make a vase! LOL

Well... yep! I sure could make a vase! And a pretty darn nice one at that! <vbg>

I used what has become the trademark image for Thisildo Realm for the base and tubed up one of my own tulips for the flowers. The grass blades are from PSP's tube files.

The tut was from Moon's Designs and you can find the tut here.

The rest of the Nutters' vases can be seen at our site by clicking here.

Alrighty now! I've managed to follow a tut and make my own tubes! Yay! Time to do some more learning! LOL

The second assignment turned out to be more daunting (for me anyway!). We were to pick a tut from QuickCreations Desktop Themes-Tutorials and most of the Nutters chose  to do a tie-dyed T-shirt. Well, all right, all of the Nutters chose to do a tie-dyed T-shirt!

I had an awful time figuring the tut out and groused and grumbled until I finally threw up my hands in exasperation and said I was bailing on Assignment Number Two. This was a "No Stress" deal right, so I'm opting for no stress and not doing it! There!

Then another Nutter showed her dolphin creation she'd made from the site and I thought - wow! Dolphins! I can do dolphins! And toddled off to the site to make me some dolphins. Well, of course I couldn't do the dolphins either! Seems I needed yet another program I don't have! ack! But wait! There's a duck! I can do a duck! I think I can do a duck anyway.

Hee Hee ~ as it turns out, I sure can do a duck! LOL

Introducing Mr. Dapper Dan the Duck

The interesting thing is that while I was working on the duck, I discovered the thing I needed for the tie-dyed T-shirt! LOL So, I'll be adding that here soon.... perhaps.
Well, now that we got our feet wet and were actually making things, we went to PSPImaginarium to tackle the Beginners Series of tutorials and learn the basics of PSP.
