The Magenta Placenta

Enter the Magenta Placenta,
It's really a wonderful thing,
It has a little light bulb in the center,
And a crown that makes it King.

The magenta placenta's weakness,
Makes it oh so sad,
It's because of its unbelievable freakiness,
That makes people go so mad.

Alas, one sad day, its life will end,
It will not live no more,
For soon our little afterbirth friend,
Will plop onto the hospital floor.

It'll hang there by its umbilical cord,
Like a noose around its neck,
Swinging in the maternity ward,
For eager students to dissect.

And when parents are asked by there kids,
Why they didn't decide to keep them,
The mystery behind our placenta friend is,
"Why the fuck do African tribes eat them?"
