Boojum Dome
Much to the chagrin of the doubters and skeptics, I use names to familiarize the public with the unique identities that characterize the objects I've found. This is something I do for aesthetic purposes and if it is a source of frustration for such detractors, I'm all for it!  Lighten Up and enjoy the images.

In the deep south, where I hail from, there is a word used to describe spookily unexplainable entities. Boojums. This is the word that is forced into my mind by the thought of what sort of critters live in a hive-like construct such as this. Crater? I don't think so. Just a cursory glance at this high res picture and the questions flood in like the water that did all that damage to the hangars shown on my Area 51. On Mars?? page.

Unlike most of the high res pictures found in the archives and my little collection, this is the whole thing! Not a crop, or a data failure, I believe this object was purposefully targeted, and for the same reasons that I feel the awe I do for it. For some strange reason, part of this image was deeply shaded over. No matter, I managed to remove most of it to reveal this wonder. If anyone thinks this is a mere crater, my suggestion to them is to study about 30 or 40 thousand of them like I have and get back to me when they give up from not finding it's like! I'll leave any lengthy details for the keyed picture below at bottom, and let this one sink in unaided. Magnificent isn't it?

Here is another copy of it I made for the purposes of showing some of the utter strangeness I've discovered. For starters, in the center of the structure, shaded in blue, is something that reminds me of a large entry or exhaust vent. Given what the image shows us, this seems quite in line with the intricate structures that it leads up and away from. The whole thing has a translucent quality to it, almost like we're seeing through glass, what lies below. If you look closely at the 2 o'clock position inside the rim, there is a quite astonishing half face at the end of a spiraling ridge along the top of the dome, left side of it showing. Beside it to the right I have put an arrow. This arrow points to a group of three identical objects laid parallel to each other that for the life of me look like LPG tanks. Along the far left edge of the picture near the middle is a raised structure with radiating arms that is virtually surrounded by intricate walls and other constructs, same thing goes for the lighter raised structure down about an inch from it. The arrow towards the bottom middle of the picture points to one damn strange looking object . I have no word other than stadium like to describe it. Lastly, don't miss the top left corner, as it defies explanation too

There are many of this type of convoluted landscapes with structural connotations in the high resolution images
from the Hellas/Aries City area.
