Hey everybody,
If you get the Daily News in California dig Sunday's paper out of the trash.
In the L.A. Life section of the paper there's a story on summer movies and on
page 3 of that section there is a picture of Steve with Bruce Willis and some
other cast members all suited up for there trip. It's a black and white
picture and Steve is the first person on the left. I'm pretty sure it's the
same picture that somebody on the list had found in Parade.

Hey Everybody,
Remember the band that made the song "Steve Buscemi"? Dystopia One? Well, if
you go to their website they have two pictures of Baz Turd with Steve!!! I
don't know if there is any other Steve related stuff there but I'll let you
know, I'm going to go browse around the site some more. Here is the address
to get there:

That should take you right to the pictures. Otherwise go to the BAND section
on the site.

Hey there Everybody,
On the site that I posted earlier, the Dystopia One site, you can download the
song Steve Buscemi if you go to the NOISE section. If you browse around some
more you can order it. Here's the page for the download:
http://www.dystopiaone.com/buscemit.html
That song is so weird! He's like "Steve Buscemi is the greatest actor who
ever lived! Steve Buscemi is cool! Steve Buscemi is always rubbing his big
blue bugged-out eyes!"

I was looking for Steve stuff on the net and came across a page that says that
Steve is working on something called "Don't Freak 'Til It Happens" I have no
idea what it's about, the site didn't really give any information. Anybody
know anything?

Hey there,
Does anybody know what character Steve supposedly played in "Even Cowgirls Get
The Blues"? I've seen a couple different sites that say he was in it but I
didn't see him in it. Was he cut out? Who was he?
Tricia
{As far as I know, Steve's role was cut out if he was in it. The same
thing happened with his role as John Cusack's boss in "The Grifters." MH}

I found this while checking out my horoscope on Yahoo. It was listed
because Quentin is an Aries. There's some articles, the screenplays of
several movies, sounds and pics from the movies, and various other
information. One of the things that caught my eye while scanning the page
was the fact that Quentin filmed Resevoir Dogs in B&W on 16mm with himself
and his friends in the leading roles, and the comprehensive transcript of
what happened to Mr. Pink once he left the building with the diamonds,
which I haven't read yet...

Subject: New ARMAGEDDON Clip
Hey --
I was watching "Entertainment Tonight" earlier, and they said that
they're going to air a new ARMAGEDDON clip on the show tomorrow. They
showed a tiny portion of the clip and it looked like one of the scenes
described at the "Ain't It Cool News" web site. If it's the one that I
think it is, Steve is supposed to be in it -- for few seconds a least!

Subject: Steve On The Radio
Hey,
A few months ago somebody said that they heard a service announcement
against drug use that used a voice that sounded like Steve's. I just
heard it on the radio tonight -- it DOES sound like Steve! If it isn't
him, I'd like to know who sounds that much like him! I hope there's a
TV commercial that goes with it.
I was pissed that the ARMAGEDDON clip that ET aired didn't have Steve
in it. I think that the clip ended only a few seconds before we
would've seen Steve :(

DYSTOPIA ONE CELEBRATE THEIR FIFTH YEAR ANNIVERSARY WITH THE BUSCEMI TAPES
New York--DYSTOPIA ONE is celebrating their five year anniversary as a band
with the release of The Buscemi Tapes on None Of The Above Music, due out
June 2nd.
The Buscemi Tapes features the underground hit, "Steve Buscemi," a humorous
tribute to bug-eyed actor that DYSTOPIA ONE is obsessed with. Last year,
this novelty song led to DYSTOPIA ONE being played on high profile radio
stations in the NY tri-state area (WXRK, WNEW, and WBAB) and it wasn't even
commercially available.
When DYSTOPIA ONE's Baz Turd surprised Steve Buscemi at a Long Island film
festival, Baz learned that Buscemi already had a copy of the song and was
"embarrassed to play the song to others because it's very flattering."
The Buscemi Tapes shows the band at various stages during the years
1993-1997. Aside from original members Baz Turd (keyboards, vox, samples)
and Mr. Hymson (drums), all five bass players that have spent time in
DYSTOPIA ONE are represented on this retrospective. The most recent
addition to the band is Decline (fuzz bass) who appears here in his first
DYSTOPIA ONE recording.
This CD is a significant release for DYSTOPIA ONE because it is their last
keyboard related recording. The band has evolved beyond its trademark
synth heavy sound and have now adopted a guitar based "noise pop" approach.
The Buscemi Tapes has it all for fans of DYSTOPIA ONE; unreleased material,
demo versions of album tracks and unusual cover songs such as "Who Can It
Be Now?" (Men At Work), "Pinhead" (Ramones), "Multi-national Corporations"
(Napalm Death) and the "Sesame Street" theme.

Hey, everyone!
Just a couple of tid bits, there's a picture of Steve in Premier's Summer
Movie Guide. He's in his red space suit with Bruce, Ben, and the rest of the
gang. The article actually has an interesting quote:
"Steve Buscemi, the mission's comic relief, is in one-liner heaven after
having his role cleverized by Con Air scribe Scott Rosenberg."
Should be interesting.
Also, Peter Stormare is in Armageddon as well, playing Lev. Guess these guys
really like each other...
I'll be sure to send more news as I hear it!

Hey --
I was surfing the web yesterday and came across a behind the scenes
clip of Steve from when he directed that H:LOTS episode. It's at the
Ultimate TV web site.
Go to: www.ultimatetv.com
Then click on "Promolounge"
Then click on "Behind The Scenes"
Then click on "H:LOTS"
There you will find a list of cast members and such. Steve is on this
list!!! He is also on the "Behind-the-Scenes 2" clip. I didn't really
look at the rest of them, so let me know if he's on any of the other
ones.

Subject: Steve in Movieline
Hey everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that there's a humorous little bit in the
June '98 issue of Movieline. On the very last page, they have a thing
about what would happen if a few people got together and had a kid. Well,
our dear boy, Steve, is what the magazine thought would be the love child
of John Waters (a director) and Carol Kane (the bartender from Trees
Lounge).
