History: Born to Anakin Skywalker and Queen Padmé Amidala. After her father's conversion to the Dark Side, Leia was taken to Alderaan by her mother to be adopted by Bail Organa into the Royal House Of Alderaan. There Leia became a political figure and soon became the youngest politician in galactic history at the age of 16. A member of the Imperial Senate, Leia often had arguements with Darth Vader and other Imperials. When she was eighteen, the plans for the original Death Star were transmitted to her consular ship, Tantive IV. Her ship was then taken captive by Darth Vader's Imperial Star Destroyer Devastator. During the battle, Leia planted the Death Star schematics into the memory banks of R2-D2, whom she sent to Tatooine to contact Tatooine. Taken back to the Death Star, Leia was tortured into revealing the location of the Rebel's hidden base, but to no prevail. Finally, under the decision of Grand Moff Tarkin, the destructve power of the Death Star was to be tested on her adopted home planet of Alderaan. She witnessed her home planet's destruction. Later, Leia was recued by Han Solo and Luke Skywalker. They then escaped the Death Star and speed away to the rebel base on Yavin IV. After the Battle of Yavin, Leia awarded Han Solo and Luke Skywalker medals for their efforts in the destruction of the Death Star.
Three years later, on the ice world of Hoth, Leia, Han, C-3PO and Chewbacca escaped shortly after the Battle of Hoth on the Millenium Falcon only to be pursued by the Imperial fleet led by Darth Vader. Solo led them into an asteroid field to avoid the Imperials. After escaping the asteroid field and hiding behind an Imperial Star Destroyer, Leia and the others limped their way to Bespin and Cloud City. There she met Lando Calrissian, whom then betrayed the group to Vader and the bounty hunter Boba Fett. Solo was then frozen in carbonite and Leia and Chewbacca were then to accompany Vader to his Star Destroyer. Rescued by Lando, Leia, Lando, Chewbacca, C-3PO and R2-D2 then attempted to rescue the frozen Solo from Boba Fett, but failed. They then escaped on the Falcon to the secret rebel rendevous point after recuing Luke.
Over the course of a year, Leia, Luke and Lando all went on various missions to aid the Alliance in any way, she also hired mercenary Dash Rendar to protect Luke from assassination.
Later, Leia rescued Han from his carbonite prison only to be captured by Jabba the Hutt and put into a skimpy slave outfit. During Han, Luke and Chewbacca's execution at the Great pit of Carkoon, Leia used Jabba's own slave chains on him as she choked him to death. Soon after words, she aided General Solo to Endor to destroy the shield generator protecting the new Death Star. While on Endor, Luke Skywalker revealed to Leia that Vader was his father and that the young Jedi was her sister. During the ground battle of Endor, Leia was wounded, only to save the others from Stormtroopers and defeat the Imperials on the ground with the aid of a hijacked AT-ST scout walker. Shortly after the destruction of the second Death Star, Leia informed Han of Luke and Leia's relationship. There, on Endor, they all celebrated the death of the Empire with the Ewok tribe who had helped them all.
