Who Am I?
|
I am Ali Leigh Bell, a 15 year old from a town near Pittsburgh, PA. I enjoy singing, dancing, acting...all that musical theatre stuff! I have played flute for 7 years and piano for almost 3 (self taught). I love musicals, X-Files, animals and Michael Ball. Pretty simple. It all started in the middle of 5th grade. I heard Phantom of the Opera. That pulled me into the wonderful world of musical theatre! It started off as only Phantom, then grew to only Andrew Lloyd Webber when I heard Cats, but when I heard Les Miserables and Jekyll & Hyde I really opened up! Now, my favorite shows are PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, LES MISERABLES, Jekyll & Hyde, Miss Saigon, Side Show, Cival War, Scarlet Pimpernel, Aspects of Love, and the list goes on and on and on. My dream roles include Eponine in Les Miz (and no, that's not really me on the cover of InTheatre Magazine! My best friend Leanna made it for me! Cool huh?), Lucy in J&H, Christine Daae in Phantom, Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods, Lily in Secret Garden, and (again) the list goes on. My favorite performer is MICHAEL BALL. He's SO good!! That voice, those cute dimples, that body, that...WOAH!! Ali, get your mind out of the gutter! I must admit my crush on Mikey is pretty big. It's more of an obsession. Michael I love you, if you're reading this!!

The X-Files

I was once asked, "How come you like the X-Files so much?" I couldn't answer! (but what X-Phile can??) That's like asking a dog why it has fur! I JUST DO, OKAY!! I mean, I wasn't always so obsessed. Actually, I used to HATE the X-Files. I thought it was stupid. But then I went to see the movie cuz there was nothing else to see, and I was hooked. I went to the movie again, and started watching all the reruns on FX. Now I have every episode on tape! My favorite episodes are BAD BLOOD (which I've memorized), Christmas Carol/Emily, All Souls, Kill Switch, and tons more. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are such talented actors and the show is just so cool! I really don't know what it was about the movie that sucked me in, but it happened! I will be so sad when the show ends after season 7! For me, it's only season 2!! :-( But I've got the whole series on tape and there are always reruns. THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE
