Joshua  Morrow (Nick)
Joshua Morrow, who stars as Nicholas Newman in The Young and the Restless, joined the cast of the CBS daytime drama in June 1994. He received the Soap Opera Award as Outstanding Younger Lead Actor in 1996. He was also honored with Emmy Award nominations as Outstanding Younger Leading Actor in 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000.
Joshua starred in the television movie My Stepson, My Lover, opposite Rachel Ward. His theatre credits include, the Young Artists Ensemble production of Ordinary People, regional productions of Picnic, The Rainmaker, Road to Ruin, The Witching Hour, Staring into the Abyss, and Dark of the Moon.
Joshua majored in communications with a minor in theater at Moorpark College in California. He studied under acting coaches Preston Sparks, Michael McGrady, Lisa Pantone, Frank Roach, Spencer Hastings and Glenn Freeman.
He is a founding board member of TV Cares, the fundraising and charity arm of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. He is a sports enthusiast who plays on celebrity basketball and softball teams on behalf of various charities. He also enjoys collecting baseball cards and reading.
Joshua was born in Juneau, Alaska, where his father was stationed in the Coast Guard. He grew up in Oklahoma and New Mexico before settling in Southern California.
His birthday is February 8. He stands 6' 0" tall and has brown hair and green eyes.
