New Beginnings And Sad Endings

An Open Message To The Staff And Readers from DrClayForrester.

By DrClayForrester

Hello, everyone. Glad you could make it.

First, let me say what a joy it's been being the editor for this humble little newsletter over the past few months. Each time I read an article that's been sent to me by one of the staff, I can't get over how much each of us has improved since we started just a short time ago.

And once again, I am compelled to alert readers to a new change to one of our regular columnists' pages. Our very own Mike Nelson has decided to start working on reviews of some of his favorite MST3K episodes. Please give it a look.

Our very own Kenneth Morgan has taken his life in his hands and given us his first actual picture for one of his articles this week, too!

I don't think it's really necessary for me to tell you how funny Crow T. Robot's Cation This! is. Right?

Crow was also kind enough to write an article about the end of the world as we know it. And he feels fine.

Myself, I've contributed one of my favorite columns from my other web page (which, for reasons unknown, has disappeared from the face of the Web). And since everyone's talking about how the end of the world is coming, I figured I'd offer up a little something that pretty much proves it.

That's right. Bill Paxton.

On a semi-related note, I am sad to say that I will have to step down as editor for DBNews for a while, due to personal problems here at Castle Forrester.

But before I go, I want to say what a pleasure it's been working with all of the staff (including the now absent Ska-Queen). Each one of them has brought out their own personalities in their writings, and we're a better group for it.

One thing I do want to make perfectly clear is this: I WILL BE BACK. It is my full intention to return to the post of editor and contributor to this fine newsletter (if for no other reason than to stroke my own ego... It's good for me...). It just might take a month or two. So please be patient. We will be back.

One last time, let me say a hearty "Thank You" to all of you who are kind enough to check us out week after week. You people are the real reason we do this.

Keep circulating the tapes.

Have a safe and happy New Year, everyone.
