TRADING RULES

PLEASE READ THE RULES FIRST. THEY'RE SHORT AND SIMPLE.

I WILL IGNORE THOSE WHO DO NOT READ OR FOLLOW THE RULES.

CHANGES IN POLICY WHICH ARE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:

If you are interested in yaoi titles, I would now only trade one yaoi title for another due to massive dubbing and damages on my tapes. I have only one copy for many of them and they're deteriating at an alarming rate. Another reason for the change is the sheer volume of mixing and matching for yaoi titles, I found myself spending a good part of my weekend babysitting my VCR. You can get one yaoi title while the rest are from the fansub list, but remember, you must be able to offer a yaoi title in return.

1a. Browse and select enough titles to fill up at least 3 tapes (MIXING AND MATCHING ARE ALLOWED BUT BE REASONABLE) from the fansub list. It is possible that I may refuse to trade a particular title due to impending release since I do not update my site on a regular basis. I would also ask for a signed statement if you are trading for adult titles, see 1b for example.

CAUTION: You must check the trade status located on the first column next to the anime titles on fansub list. The trade status must say YES for me to agree to the trade. This is especially important for yaoi titles. I keep getting requests for titles that are already released in the U. S.

I WILL NOT DISTRIBUTE COMMERCIAL TITLES UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!

1b. If you are looking for yaoi titles, you must have yaoi titles to trade in return. This means that you must have titles that I do not have or the same titles that I do have but are subtiled in English or Mandarin. I will not accept other language. You would have also to provide a signed statement, taking full responsibility for viewing the tapes and its contents. It should go something like this:

2. Email me with the following information:

WARNING: Your email must contain the information that I asked for, otherwise the trade is not possible. Why? Because I view it as a bad omen! If one can not even follow simple directions, what are the possibility that the trade will go smoothly?

3. JVC HS and Maxell Gold are usually what I use because I can buy them at discounted prices at local Sam's Club. I'll probably accept other brand name tapes as long as they're the same grade or of comparable quality.

4. I only record in SP and mono.

5. I prefer trading three or six tapes, except for the first trade which will be only three tapes to ensure good contacts.

6. I prefer to trade with others that can work quickly, within 2 weeks after accepting the trade list for each trade.

7. If we agreed on a date to send the tapes out, I expect you to keep it. I'm getting a little tired of waiting for my tapes when yours were sent out weeks before. If you can not make it on the date that we set, send me an email and I'll hold your package back till you're ready. Those who continue to violate my trust will be black listed so do not be surprised if I tell you NO even though we traded before. If you can not abide rule six or seven, please find someone else to trade fansubs because there are plenty of us out there and there's no need for either one of us to be involved in something that may prove to be frustrating. If this situation does not improve soon, I'll have to insist on receiving my tapes first before I would send out yours. I would hate to do that hence the warning.

8. I've accepted trades from audio tapes i.e. anime and Chinese pop music, yaoi manga and artbook instead of fansubs for yaoi anime. I decided to restrict that because I found that I was getting incomplete tapes and/or wrong tapes. A few of the audio tapes were partial and I did not notice the problem at the time. I will no longer trade audio tapes for VHS tapes. We will only trade audio tapes for audio tapes, VHS tapes for VHS tapes, except in special cases that I accept something else for the trade.
