Warning! BAD DISTRIBUTOR: CRT Anime

I emailed and requested six tapes on 02/13/99 and was accepted on 02/13/99.  The money order was sent out on 02/16/99.  After waiting for more than four months and several emails requesting for status (answered with URL for the status page) and refunds (promptly ignored), I dedcided to label them as a bad distributor and to warn potential victims. I am only one of many because according to their status page, there were 50 others still waiting for their tapes and the distribution status is still open. He claimed to have turnaround time of 1-4 weeks for new requests. I personally received several emails from others with similar problems and one trader. After numerous complaints, they renamed and moved their site. They still can be found at CRT Anime. Simply follow the link, it will take you to their new page and as of 08/13/99, I still have not received anything, refund nor tapes. They're still trying to run their little scam and are still claiming that they're working on the backlog.

UPDATE! Today's 03/18/00, an update on CRT Anime, they have now completely disappeared, the page now sells furnitures.  For this reason, I will now post his name and address here for all to see!
